I really like The Stones (at least their first 15 or so years of music) but haven't taken much time to get into their live stuff. I really should - especially shows that have stuff from classic albums like Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile on Main Street.
Ron, do you know where I can get that LA Friday (1975) show? It says I can get it for 8 bucks (I have no issue with paying for it assuming that it is an "official" release) but not too sure where to find it. I believe that archive site mentions that it's a google music download but it doesn't work here in Canada.
^ It's through Google Music if I remember reading right.
It's funny, just the other day I was having a Stones marathon. Started with Come On (my favourite Stones song, even if it's a cover) and was playing all the old videos and albums. I do wonder because it's their 50th anniversary of their first show this week - July 12 1962 - if anything special will happen this year.
I just bit the proverbial bullet and paid a whole $7 for that show.
It's got a TONNE of classics on it - can't wait to listen to it later.

The Rolling Stones Bootleg Archive has been opened for months, uploading fantastic class shows in amazing quality I wish U2 would do the same.
Sadly I'm off the Rolling Stones, a few years ago I was OBSESSED with them. (I even started this thread back in the day). But they need to do a final show so I can see them at least once in my life! The inactivity since 2007 has been kind of depressing imo
