1. OHMYFUCKINGGOD i love this song! its god a really slick vibe and is clearly influenced by The Cars.

not as immediately catchy as some of their past singles but its sure as hell powerful.

worth the wait for sure, i bet they can't wait to play it live.
  2. I think the thing I'm most happy about is that Brandon's lyrics in this tune make sense
  3. true, no fiery arrows or runnin' with the devil in this one. sounds like this one will be a combination of the best things about the first two records.

still miss brandon's morrissey impression/british accent though, as you said!

Yep! But ah well. This song kicks ass so hard in the music department that it can be overlooked. Judging by this and The Rising Tide, this record is looking pretty promising!
  5. Just heard Runaway for the first time. It's got a lot of Day & Age in it, so that promises something for the new album, looking forward to it!
  6. Great Song!
Shaping up to be a great week for music, U22 came yesterday, Coldplay Concert last night, and then THIS?!? This song is brilliant!!!

In other news, I thought the Hotel California recording was amazing as well
  7. can't get into it, sounds like I've heard it before BUT i'm excited about the return in general, new album and hopefully I get to see them again Ruanaway to me is 8/10 as of now
  8. to me, the Killers have a tradition of not releasing their best offerings as first singles from the albums (though i admit that's a subjective opinion). for example i prefer Spaceman to Human, Read My Mind to When You Were Young and ATTID over Somebody Told Me.

so if that trend continues and there's even better than Runaways to come, then this album is gonna be incredible!
  9. I'm really digging it. I listened to it only once this morning and then I've been off the whole day, now I come back and the first thing I do is listen to it again. And I am DIGGING it. Lyrics make sense, there's lots of guitar, there's lots of interesting synth, and there's some incredible vocals by Brandon. Well done, guys, well done
  10. I like it a lot too. Have listened to it 8 or 9 times since yesterday. Can't wait for the album!
  11. According to Brandon, the album must be solid as hell with a lot of decent songs. Good stuff
