  1. I'm thinking of cooking up a U2start community version of U22 - kind of. I know that there are other members doing something similar already, but I figure that one more can't hurt.

    So basically I will be editing together video footage from various 360 shows which you can nominate in this very thread! So please, put down songs, shows, or indeed anything which you think I should take a look at before I decide which footage I'm going to use.

    It gives me a decent excuse to do a bit of video editing. I'm out of projects and I haven't actually edited anything since my Sarajevo release.

  3. Pretty much, yes. You're right, there is a lot of footage out there. That's why I wanted to let the community here involve themselves, and ultimately decide what goes in the final project.
  4. Are you planning to sync up different video sources to a single show audio feed or mix up different video sources with different audio sources as well?
  5. Different audio sources, but hand picked to try and keep everything smooth. Only the very best will be considered.
  6. I am fluent in audio editing and mixing, just in case you need any help (I doubt it though ).


    Proper suggestions? You definitely NEED to get something from Zurich, Brussels, Barcelona1, East Rutherford and Anaheim in there
  7. Suggestions duly noted. A little piece of each of those WILL make it to the final render, I promise.

    It's fast becoming apparent that the longest part of this whole process will be amassing the content. I've already got the seedbox on it.
  8. I don't have any actual good footage from the show I went to, but I think you should have the first 8 tracks be this:

    Breathe (Barca 1)
    No Line on the Horizon (Milan 1)
    Get on Your Boots (Wembley 2)
    Magnificent (Zagreb, with Miss Sarajevo snippet)
    Even Better Than the Real Thing (whenever it was played first?)
    The Fly (Anaheim 2)
    Mysterious Ways (Cape Town, Paris or Brussels)
    Until the End of the World (Amsterdam? Mexico? Brussels?)

    don't forget Sheffield, Dublin, Chicago, or Moncton!

    these are my humble suggestions I can't wait to see what you come up with!

    I could help with covers, don´t know if it's enough but I don't have idea mixing video or audio...

    And my suggestion would be Angel of Harlem from the first night in Barcelona, with those snippets of Michael Jackson (Man in the mirror / Don't stop till you get enough) I'll allways remember that.
  11. I'm currently doing my best to bring some of the lesser audio sources from great shows up to par.

    Here is one of the tracks I've been working on. If you could take a listen to it and compare it to the original (included) then I would be massively thankful.

    The differences are subtle, but I'm doing my best.
  12. Well I think the difference are clear to hear. The edited track sounds much clearer. In the unedited track, everything seems a bit 'distant'.
