1. Nice pics! Funny... Those pics were what my sister took first with my dad's new bad-ass camera too Insects are good motives though.

Well, you pick what's close to you, and since I don't have any beautiful architecture around me at all, insects were a good choce to start with, well it felt like a good design back then.

Tim, I like both pics. In first one drops are more round than in second and quite bigger too, but in the night version there is more contrast wich I like and also these drops look like a glass ball with actual grass inside it, which is absolutely cool

    Thanks Pato

Aidan, nice shots I can't really get blured one, but as Corbijn once said about the pics with out-of- focus U2 and sharp ruins behind them: "Gentlemen, please, it has a purpose! Honest" Just kidding It gives you a sense of wander I think.
  6. Thanks Pato and Alexandra

I kinda agree with you Alex, I only looked at the night photo on the LCD and wasn't impressed, but after importing to my laptop and touching up in Photoshop I think I prefer it to the day version.

Aidan, beautiful sunsets as usual. My favourite is the third one, the clouds make it
  7. Some birds:

White wagtail marching in the water.

This one could easily be my favorite, but I failed focusing, damn. I'm still not good with it. Also the bird was so small and so bloody quick ha ha

  8. I love birds...it's so hard to take good pictures of them...you did a great job Alexandra!

By the way, thanks for the words...you and Tim

About the the pic without focus, I saw the sun light and the non natural lights in the streets and in the buildings and I tried to make them look similar...but in my opinion, this picture is more about energy and wondering than the picture itself...

  9. Here's one from me, taken a couple of weeks ago now:

    In the garden, again.
  10. Two nature(ish) shots from my little trip up north. I didn't take very many scenery shots; it's all family stuff.
