1. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at the War Child gig on Tuesday. Wonderwall for a Beady Eye Olympics comparison (Noel Gallagher takes the piss out of them at the start) and the full set.

    Setlist:

    1. (It's Good) To Be Free
    2. Talk Tonight
    3. If I Had A Gun
    4. Supersonic
    5. Wonderwall
    6. Whatever
    7. AKA... What A Life!
    8. Do Yer Wanna Be A Space Man?
    9. Half The World Away
    10. Angel Child
    11. Don't Look Back In Anger

It is completely ruined however by audience members shouting all the way through.
  2. ^ shouting or singing along?
  3. The Killers played Don't Look Back In Anger yesterday at the V Festival as an intro to Read My Mind. Epic:

  4. Noel Gallagher announces 'International Magic Live At The O2' DVD

Noel Gallagher is to release a live DVD of a recent London O2 Arena show in October.

The release entitled 'International Magic Live At The O2' will feature the full gig from his February 26 show plus a second disc which will include footage of his performance from the NME Awards, where he was crowned this year's Godlike Genius, plus an acoustic set at The Mod Club in Toronto and three music videos from his recent singles.

The special edition package will also include an exclusive CD – 'Faster Than The Speed Of Magic' featuring demos of his album tracks along with live favourite 'Freaky Teeth'.

'International Magic Live At The O2' will be released through Sour Mash Records on October 15.
  5. Was that the concert Ed went to?
  6. I would prefer it if was Dublin's O2 a.k.a. Point Depot instead of London's O2, but... Great stuff anyway

  7. I don't know, maybe he will come an enlighten us one day.

In the meantime, I love this series on Youtube (you should check out the other guests sometime, something for everyone it seems) and Noel Gallagher popped up. Whilst his 'interview' is probably the shortest and least interesting (which is strange, because I usually find him quite interesting, open and funny) I shall post it here purely to introduce newcomers to the "What's In My Bag?" series and for his first line:

I think Shannon may have pissed him off
  8. Noel's DVD is ready to be released!

  9. I love the artwork across the HFB releases
  10. Confession: Whenever I see that there's a new post in this thread , I hope that there's an announcement that Oasis is reuniting.

    I live in denial.
