I like that. People who are too good at interviews ruin themselves for me. It makes them seem like such actors. Like when Bono does an interview, I roll my eyes and think about what a crock he always is when he speaks. Whatever, love the man all the same cause its U2, etc etc. However when Edge speaks, because he really thinks about what he says- though it may not be as "entertaining"- I'm always intrigued.

agreed, Bono talks just to "talk" LOL but back to the Killers, it seems that they always get interviewed by people who BARELY know of them, they don't get asked any good or interesting questions imo. So it might be a little bit of both, them being serious an the interviewer not knowing anything worthwhile to ask = bad interview

    That.

Also, Dave and Mark are really shy, they strongly remind me of Edge and Adam. Maybe it goes with the instrument
  3. I don't think there's anything wrong with being media savvy, and especially nothing wrong with being good at talking in an interview. It makes them look inarticulate and to put it plainly, kinda dumb. They get asked about the new music and just go "well..we tried to do this and that....and uhh.....yeah...that's about it..". It also makes it look like they don't care, which is totally fine I guess, but I still think if a musician wants to be famous and all that they NEED to care about talking about their music when people ask, especially if they said "okay" to an interview. If they didn't want to do it they probably wouldn't have to.

That's just the way I see it.
  4. Edge has that way of speaking that makes you really interested in whatever he's saying. Bono has his moments too.
  5. You don't get to where Bono is (both as a musician and a rights advocate) without knowing how to play for the cameras.

I tend to agree with this.

I still say that I've seen lots of interviews with the boys and specially Brandon uses to be much more brilliant than that.
  7. Just came back from V-Festival, saw the Killers, they blew me away! Runaway is such a tune!

  8. Hey Josh! Welcome!! Great that you were there, man How was that Don't Look Back In Anger? I would have killed to be there. Glad you had a good time! Did you take any pics or vids or something?
  9. The Killers will play at the iTunes Festival on the 11th September. Please allow me to win tickets...
  10. I applied for tickets this morning for The Killers along with Noel Gallagher and Jack White.

    I'd love to win tickets.

  11. I was wondering the other day whether or not they would do that, being the Olympics were there this year and all... wish they would have a late Glasto date as well

  12. Do they go by they first-come first-served system or a lottery? Best luck to you and Tim
