1. Basic summary:

    yes.

There are a few glitches and things to improve, but... yes
  2. In case people don't already know.

Coldplay will be performing at the Closing Ceremony for the Para Para Paralympics (sorry, had to do that). Also, it was confirmed that Xylobands will be implemented. Do they even have enough Xylobands to fill Olympic Stadium?

    lolololol

Also, xylobands? They've been giving out 15-70.000 bands a concert for almost 5 months, I think they can live with another 60.000 haha

Some other interesting things I've gleaned from the given information... It was stated that Coldplay will be headlining the Closing Ceremony. This in addition to the inclusion of their Xylobands makes me believe that they will be given time for an appropriate set, much unlike the acts at the Closing Ceremony earlier this month. I don't see them bringing out the bells and whistles for just one song, to be honest.

Unfortunately, public television in the US does not televise the Paralympic games and BBC will not be replicating their amazing coverage for the Paralympic games either (they didn't get the rights), so I'm hard pressed to find a way to watch the ceremonies...
  6. BBC said that Coldplay would play a "lengthy" set. So expect a few songs

And yeah, unless someone records it, you'll struggle obtaining footage from Channel 4. You could bypass location restrictions and watch them on 4OD maybe. But I rarely use 4OD so I don't even know if they do live streams. I'll check.

Edit: You can stream live from the Channel 4 website, not 4OD. Makes sense since 4OD is catch-up.
  7. My bet is:

    1 - Paradise
    2 - Charlie Brown
    3 - Yellow
    4 - Viva La Vida

    1 and 3 are swappable.
  8. Awesome! I'll be checking out Channel 4 in a few weeks then.

Now I wonder how resourceful Coldplay's tech guys will be... In addition to the Xylobands they're bringing, the Olympic Stadium has a nifty feature that the seats of the upper rafters also double as a massive video screen encircling the stadium. I thought it was freaking clever of the designers to do that and I really liked how they were used.
