1. Ouch.
  2. Are you kidding me? That's fucking amazing.
  3. I agree. I've developed a strong liking for that song since Coldplay used it before going on stage in their MX tour. That's very much amazing
  4. One of my top 10 favorite songs
  5. Christ......that is fuckin' awful...so glad I didnt bother,or even consider going to that shithole of a city (Philly) at all to see that nonsense...

    Jay Z..really ?...REALLY !

First Bono kisses his ass, then Chris Martin.....now PJ ?......what a joke....

Im on a much needed break from PJ.........

    Im thoroughly disgusted,and actually speechless.....
  6. Kudos to PJ for trying it. Amazing sense of art development. They're not afraid of trying new things, that's alwats good.
  7. No, I like the song just not this version. It could be the quality of the video, but it just sounds pretty bad.
  8. What's the big problem with Jay-Z here?

  9. For me,it wasnt the bad quality of the video..it was the person in it...my opinion of course....

The guys in PJ are my age (40s),and it just seems kinda silly to be jumping up and down to such a juvenile song..I guess PJ are trying to seem "cool" to a younger crowd maybe ?..again,just my opinion here....

If you guys like it...thats cool..but I think I will side with Noel Gallagher on his opinion of Jay Z....
  10. I respect your PJ fan-dom infinitely, but I don't think you could be more wrong about this.

The reason Pearl Jam are even at that festival is because Jay-Z curated it and is a big Pearl Jam fan...he picked them to be the only other headliner at the fest. Also, PJ is no stranger to hip hop collaborations...Cypress Hill collab anyone?

They're just having a good time. And who cares if the song is juvenile or not...personally I don't even really think it is, just because he's a rapper and that particular song is pretty cliche in terms of content for a rap song doesn't mean that its a stupid song. The entire basis for the song is racial profiling.

"99 problems, and "a bitch" aint one"....he's actually talking down to the other rap artists who sit there and rap about their bitches and hos, and how they're gonna get laid all night and drink their Bacardi etc....he's saying I've got SO many problems- we ALL do- but "a bitch" aint one. Really think the context of that line needs the quotes...he's not calling women bitches, he's calling out others for doing that while highlighting the real problems.
