Just reminds me of why I have never, and will never, read NME shit

  2. NME is good as a daily news source for the likes of who is bringing out a new album, who is touring, who split up, etc. but I'll admit that the opinions at NME are quite poor.

That is "pretty much everyone" which is an uncertain statement. The headline show of theirs had everyone wanting to see Coldplay.

Yeah festivals typically won't let bands do the same things they do in arenas due to public ordinances. I remember reading about restrictions Coldplay had in Chicago regarding their confetti, and some specific fireworks and balloons.

Not really DRASTIC differences but the arena shows are tailored exactly to a band's liking. I still stand by not really counting festival appearances towards what a band can really do live- wouldn't for a band I've ONLY seen at a festival, wouldn't for a band I've seen many other times (a la Foo Fighters).
  4. List like these are always pretty random. Music will always be about taste. Dont think the guys will lose a minute sleep about not making just another list.

I'm sure Bono hasn't slept since.
  6. Foo Fighters should be higher imo, they kick arse live. I enjoyed thier concert more than Muse, eventhough i like Muse's songs/albums more.

But yeah, the whole list is pretty much bullshit considering it doesn't have U2.
  7. ^Ah, to be a rock star.
  8. This is more of a non-sighting:

I guess this might very be the first year in a long while where the band hasn't (re)released something to the general public (i.e., other than a fan-club release). I guess the feel U22 will fill that void.

Dang, I was hoping for some ZooTV (other than Sydney) celebration.
  9. we're not safe from the Best of 2000-10 for Christmas yet hehe

  10. If it gets us some new songs to go with it I'm all for it!
