1. Then I will see it too - in a few months, that is.

  2. Ed, did you see three PJ shows in 2010 - Newark and MSGx2?

  3. I did and MSG 2 is one of the greatest shows ive been at. I really enjoyed the setlist at Newark but the crowd was really weak. 3 amazing nights that i will never forget. Just writing about it is making me wish for a MSG soon!!!!!
  4. Nice job, Nick! (Haven't seen you in here in a while).

They are so due for a US Tour - which must also include a stop in Toronto, as well!

  5. Yes..I saw all 3..Newark is very underrated, alot of rare tunes that night....opening with Of The Girl,Brain of J,Alone,Immortality,Brother,Leatherman,FOOTSTEPS,Whipping,Indifferance and closing with Watchtower..

The MSG gigs are well.....2 of the best gigs by PJ...N2 is EPIC....
  6. I listened to all of those 2010 gig back in January/February - really enjoyed them. Just as goog as the 2009 ones, if not better. Now if they'd only combine the two tours for 2013.
  7. As I lull myself to sleep watching the Yankees beat up on the Jays (Friday night doesn't get much crazier than this for yours truly), I think/hope this is what PJ should do next year...

Start in South America (play that Lollapalooza Aidan was talking about) to "road test a few songs, release their new album, tour the States (and Canada), then a bit of Europe, and then to The Pacific. I'll attempt to be realistic here:

Latin America: 3 shows in Brazil, 1 in Argentina, 1 in Chile, and 1 in Mexico. That's six shows so far.

    Release the new album.

USA/Canada (Leg 1) in May/June: Start in Seattle(x2), play Vancouver, Portland, San Fran, LA, San Diego, Vegas, SLC, Denver, and maybe get down to do a show in Texas. That's 11 more so we're up to 17 shows.

USA/Canada (Leg 2) in June/July: Start in Florida (WPB or Tampa?) and then onto Atlanta, Carolinas (Charlotte?), Washington-area, Philly/Camden(x2), MSG(x2), Boston(x2), Hartford, Montreal, Toronto, Cleveland, Indy, St. Louis, and Chicago(x2). That's 18 more - now we're at 35 shows. Uh, oh.

Onto Europe (late August/Sept): Dublin, London, Paris, Amsterdam/Rotterdam, Berlin, Prague, Stockholm (if only for Olof), Milan, Rome-area (help me out here, Ron), Madrid, San Sebastian, and Lisbon. Oh, boy. I'm up to 47 with those 12 European shows (and I think they should probably do a few more - but they were there in 2012).

To Australia and New Zealand to play the same seven cities (Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Christchurch) they did in 2009. That's 54 shows - assuming no repeats.

Should they get back to Japan? Probably.
  8. I'll never view the "Save it For Later" tag on Better Man the same way ever again.

God, I hate 1980's music - except for U2, of course!

  9. Aaaaahhhhhh. That's much better.

  10. We gotta do the "best versions of each" songs again!

I believe we never made it past Daughter the first time around.
  11. Nice tour there... I doubt it'll ever happen though. I think they're comfortable with the "a little tour here and there"-format. I'm fine with that. They probably want to be with family more than you are on big world tours. Not wanting to get Eddie's voice burnt out could be a factor too. And just not feeling like doing a big world tour, which can probably make you a bit crazy. They probably just want to chill out a bit more.

They're pretty old, we should be glad they're still at it.

  12. yep bonus feature from disc 1 (there is one for each member Boom included) .. cool pics on the wall .. with Joe sigh
