1. Mountain Lion has, however, rejuvenated my late-2008 MacBook. It's flying again. Seriously good OS Update for £14. Bargain.

Downside is I had to upgrade Office as my 2004 edition was no longer supported. Bummer.
  2. The new iPhone is light though, really strange when you hold it in your hands for the first time. Was going for the white one but the back of that one looks really cheap with that aluminium strip. Back to black then
  3. Just bought myself a Nexus 7. Well worth the £199.

  4. I'm ordering mine on Thursday. I hear that they're going to be replacing it with an updated model before Christmas, but fuck it, it's good enough already.

That is a rumour of there being a 3G version.

  6. There are a couple of rumours. The 3G one is almost certainly correct (not that I care since I can just tether it to my phone) but they're also planning (apparently) to refresh the Nexus 7 in order to drum up some hype for the Christmas shoppers.
  7. I want to buy a laptop, I'm gonna need it for work if I end up moving to Ireland, so it's more a need than a pleasure (I've never liked laptops).

    HP? Sony? Acer? Toshiba?

I don't need a super high-end thing, but it's going to be my main amusement besides my work station, so I would like it to be at least decent at a moderate use of movies or games. 15 inches screen minimum. My budget won't be higher than 450€/400£ sadly.

Suggestions? I know my conditions aren't easy but... Thanks in advance

I'll have a look around. I'm usually quite good at finding this sort of thing.
  9. If you like couponing have a look at Dell, if you look around there is always a way to get some savings there.
  10. Dell? Ugliest laptops in my opinion I haven't had or tried one for years, though, maybe their newer products are fine... My ex-gf has an HP Pavilion dv6-1115es and I loved it when she bought it, back in January of this year. It was 420€ new and I would be happy with a similar offer. I'm making my way through online stores catalogues and then searching for each model I like in the internet (opinions and specs) but it's so BORING
