1. Fantastic photographs Aidan

    I agree with Sergio, I love the photo's of the two couples
  2. Thanks guys!

    Summer is coming and I hope to be able to take more pics like this here in Brazil. It's almost unbelievable that I've never took my camera to a beach here...

    Do you have a flash card? What are you gonna do if I'll find it?

    Lucky you, Winter is just around the corner for me. Still, plenty of beauty in the cold months, particularly when it's frosty and/or it snows.

    Tonight there is a good sighting possibility for the International Space Station, in around two hours. It's a very clear day and there is a good, quiet viewing spot for me to go to. Hopefully I can get a nice image of it shooting across the sky. More likely to get a spectacular failure though

    And here is the best I could get with my compact camera. I was limited to an eight second exposure, so it's a little short. Next time I'll take my other camera.

  6. Few days ago in London;

    That's still pretty cool!

  8. +1.

    Light things in the sky are always cool to see in photos Perseids meteor shower, one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) meteor showers around, always happen around my birthday (from Aug. 10th to 14th with the peak on 11th and 12th) and every year there's that compromise between "shall I go and party hard or go out quiet and take photos of this gorgeous stuff". I always choose the party option, but next year I promise to go the quiet way and take photos. They're really beautiful

  9. Whereabouts is that in London? Looks really nice, I'd imagine it's quite something in the winter after it's snowed.

    Sergio, meteors and the like produce spectacular images if captured well. At least with the ISS it's always available, there's another chance to view it tomorrow and each day this week if the weather is good. I'll remember what you said next year, if you go out partying I shall be on your back

    Olof, thank you. Hopefully I can get a longer streak the next time I head out. My other camera has a 30 second limit, as opposed to 8, so should be a little better.
