''Get U2 to release Milan and Croke Park 3 on DVD''
    http://www.petitiononline.com/htdaab/

We got Popmart released in September 07, JT in November, U2 3D, 3 re-releases these days, UABRS & Red rocks in the next months, a new album probably later this year. Where's the sense in asking for another release? The shows in question are even from the same leg of the same tour...

Edit: Also, the text in the petition is bollocks. Wrong date for Croke, Croke III definitely wasn't the first Croke show since 87, and: it wasn't even filmed.
  2. If anything, get an Unforgettable Fire or Lovetown show to petition for. There hasn't been any Lovetown or Unforgettable Fire shows released officially has there? If you want DVDs go download some from torrents or trade with people - you'll never have to petition for something you won't get again. But two DVDs released literally two months away from each other? That's pretty good. And in the next two years, as already said, expect all this (or expecting) - what's been released in the last few years?:

    - new album
    - new project
    - a new fan club CD / DVD
    - Under A Blood Red Sky DVD / CD
    - Boy / October / War remasters
    - Unforgettable Fire - Pop album remasters
    - probably two new tour DVDs
    - The rest of the VHS tapes upgraded to DVD
    - U2:3D in one form or another
    - ZooTV Sydney
    - Joshua Tree Paris
    - POPmart Mexico
    - Vertigo Chicago
    - Vertigo Milan
    - Four or five new singles + videos
    - Live recordings on iTunes / Amazon / Imeem
    - Passengers Remastered (oh yeah!)
    - The band members and Paul McGuiness remastered
    - The recording studios remastered
    - Audio rips of videos

That's a hell of a lot of stuff. If Vertigo Croke Park turns out anything like Milan, forget it. Another thing you have to remember is that it has to be profitable for Principle, Universal and U2 themselves - why bother going to all the trouble of releasing something if you've got so much other stuff coming out? I think what it is that they release one or two videos, and if the tour is exceptional they may release more - as they thought with Vertigo / Elevation.

I think towards the end of 2010 - 2012, you'll be seeing a lot of unreleased stuff. The next question is, for the next tour DVD, I wonder where it will be coming from? They've done Denver, Paris, Sydney, Mexico, Boston, Slane, Chicago, Milan, South America - so where in the world next? New Zealand??

And probably the best version of IGWSHA, although that said it was never spectacular...
