    i always wanted to know what looked like the places i heard on audiotapes with bootlegs...

  2. Interesting topic.

    Here is a picture of what Murrayfield Stadium was like in 1987. This was taken/filmed on the day of the concert - hence the stage. It has came a long way since then as it was renovated in the mid-90s to a 67,000 seater stadium.



    Sorry for the bad quality, but I had to print screen it off the DVD version that I have.

    Santiago Bernabeu, which held first U2 concert in Spain back in 1987-07-15. Hasn't changed a bit either:




    Vicente Calderon, which has held 3 U2 concerts (1993, 1997, 2005). This one has changed at bit on the outside, but basically the same as:

    The Arena, minus a few improvements is pretty much the same. The Stadium as been completely redeveloped.
