1. Bookmarked for weekend readin. Thank you.

LG Nexus looks to be a mon starter if the rumours of 8GB of non expandable internal memory are to be believed.
  2. The iPad mini sure is pretty. Don't think I could take the smaller screen though. Would like a retina though.
  3. It's weird what Apple did today. For one thing, why the next gen iPad? It's too soon and it really hasn't changed that much from the previous generation. Only added lightning (big deal) and a better processor which doesn't really make that much of a difference in iOS.
As for the iPad mini, yes, it looks real sexy. But compared to competitors it's not good at all.
It's not like Apple to do this, seems like they rushed into it...
  4. iPad mini looks shite. Nexus for the win.

But the new iPad? I think a lot of stuff has been rushed because of this new dock connector thing, but then again it might not be.

I work on the electrical desk at Tesco and we thought that there would be a new iPad anytime soon. We sold out of the new iPad over one single busy weekend then we never got any in again except from some high valued iPad 2s for some strange reason. It's still the most purchased tablet out of them all.
  5. I think the mini is decent looking. Sure it's over priced but everything Apple is. £250 would have been nice. £100 is a lot over the Nexus 7 price but I bet it feels worth that much more in the hand. Plus actual tablet apps are brilliant. I may eventually try a Nexus 7 but I know I wouldn't enjoy it. Ipad 2 will do me until the next round of ipad announcements which will hopefully be 12 months away.

The big ipad refresh was always due when the new connector was announced. I would be mildly annoyed if I'd bought a 3 recently.
  6. Titan ordered. iPhone for sale.
  7. So Google announced their new products yesterday, and I have to say, based on the features and the hardware, the prices are amazing. This is going to fuck the market up...

  8. Yeah very good pricing
  9. It will dent iPad sales but not significantly. The Nexus 10 is an ugly (but well specced beast). People are fickle and will still buy iPad. Still tempted to try a Nexus 7 but something terrible would have to happen to my iPad to justify owning one. No room in my life for 2 tablets and it's missing a few key apps.
  10. Months and years go on and I still can't see the point in a tablet

I'm thinking of getting a new video card for my PC. It's obviously its weakest spot and I would like to do some soft gaming (not the latest game with NASA-like requirements) every now and then, so a video card is the way to go. I am currently bidding and winning on this cards: nVidia EV3A G-Force 8800GT for 40€ and nVidia 7500GT for 25€, they're old but good and cheap, since I can't bang 150 bucks on a greater card for the moment. Any ideas or suggestions?

You have to buy a tablet to see the point
  12. Looking for a new laptop, mainly to browse the web, store a lot of music and movies and Photoshop. Recommendations?
    +1
Is it nice to be a laggard?
