  1. Pretty great setlist from Glasgow. Dublin doesn't look doable for me sadly so hedging my bets on some UK stadium dates next summer maybe.

  2. Just my musical taste. I like their 'soft' songs A LOT better.

    I would rate them this way:
    1. The 2nd Law
    2. The Resistance
    3. Black Holes and Revelations
    4. Origin of Symmetry
    5. Absolution
    6. Showbiz

  3. Turns out I would have need to stay the night in Vienna anyway, so I decided to get GA tickets for Budapest and stay the night there instead.

    I prefer more their harder stuff and even if Absolution has a few great tracks, there are too many slow songs for my taste... And BHandR was what took me to Muse. But on every album I find some great tracks (+non album tracks like Dead Star, In Your World - if those were on Absolution, it would be probably no. 1 )

    To be honest, I prefer this Glasgow setlist to the one we had in Madrid Map Of The Prob > Hysteria, Stockholm Syndrome > New Born and well, I prefer Falling Down rather than Ruled By Secrecy, but it'd been nice anyway Here's looking forward to Kieran's comments!

    Although I was happy with the set, I would've preferred New Born and got Hysteria along with it. Although you can't have everything.

    But FUCK, the show was mind-blowing.

    I think it is the same with U2 actually. Everyone likes U2 in the 1990s. Then, most of the people like the 1980s better than 2000s, while I'm more of a 2000s guy.

    Example:
    I wouldn't mind the band dropped Streets if that would mean they will play Beautiful Day, Moment of Surrender or Discothèque/Velvet instead.

    Talking of a stadium tour, I believe it's inbound. My prediction is that it will be announced at the end of November. There are rumours, however, of them playing Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and Emirates Stadium in London. Of what I've heard anyway.
  10. Wow still getting over last night at the SECC!!!. Setlist was pretty good. Disappointed that they never played Hysteria.
    Still on the fence on the new album too. Do not get the last 2 songs being played live at all. The band themselves only really play about 2 mins of them :/ and isolated felt like being at the cinema. Oh and Unsustainable is a bit annoying IMO. Would definetly rate 2nd Law as their weakest album tbh.

    Survival however was a lot better live than I'd expected! And Supremacy is another stand out.

    Oh yeah and was hoping they'd play bliss but RBS was a sweet surprise!!.

  12. So tonight is the start of the first set of 2 night residency's of the new tour, the gigs being at the O2 Arena in London. Should be interesting to see what changes they make to the setlists between the the two nights.
