1. I think the timeline will suffice for delays for me! I'm on a pretty tight budget here and I'm trying to get the most out of it, but thanks for the suggestion!
  2. i know thats why i suggested the brigadier its less money.
  3. ohhhh I see. Well that thing is amazing
  4. Maybe I should mention that I got the Joyo Classic Chorus last week.

I've also actually ordered another Joyo... Without even trying it first. The Joyo Sweet Baby Low-Gain Overdrive. This Youtube demo just made me need to have it. It just sounds like the kind of overdrive I want.

I'm on holiday now so my focus is on music. I think I got a pretty cool lead tone in this today. It's my Sheraton into the Bad Monkey which gives a lot of sustain, it is then "chopped up" by a very short 25 ms reverse delay on my Boss DD-20, it then goes through the new chorus into the the clean channel on my Peavey Valveking 112 with a lot of treble taken out on the amp's EQ. I think it sounds cool. This is an unfinished project, so it's well, unfinished, need to add more stuff to the song. I thought someone could be interested in the tone I got though, because I really like it.

Getting that new amp a month back was such a great decision. It's so much more fun to play guitar nowadays.
  5. After much research and thinking, I've finally purchased my first pedal. It is the Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker.

It hasn't arrived yet but I'm really looking forward to plugging it in then belting it out!

Might buy a Crybaby at some point during November as I have a little more money from getting paid this month. I will have to try it in store though as I want the right wah-wah pedal.
  6. A wah is on my to buy list too, might get it this month. There are some killer deals on second hand websites!
  7. Pretty much decided to sell my Epiphone Les Paul to help finance a nice mexican strat. The classic series looks pretty cool, perhaps a Classic 50s. Will be looking at the MIM Standard and Classic Series I guess, maybe Classic Player's too. And maybe I'll even take a look at the nicest Squier line, but they'd have to be damn convincing.
  8. Avoid Squiers by all means
  9. I've heard Squier Classic Vibes are decent. I fucking hate Squier though. I really like the looks of a Classic Series '50's in Daphne Blue or Surf Green. Need to go try some.

Oh, serious kudos on this Kieran. I wish I had bought the one with the tone wicker but I caught a deal on the regular pi model on eBay and couldn't pass it up. That one definitely sounds better to my ears, though. I hope you have fun with it.

Smashing Pumpkins songs sound amazing with that thing engaged.
  11. Since everyone is updating their little rig sections, I might as well too!
Decided to cancel the pedalboard plans (if I ever mentioned that) and am going to get my Line 6 M9 heavily modded instead (sound quality mod, better button mods, added scene select button mod)
Just sold my telecaster tonight and in the same trip went to the music store and picked up a blue Ibanez artcore hollowbody that's been sitting there for months. Everytime I've gone in there I say "hey no one has still bought it!" well a few days ago I went in again and it was still there and I decided I'd sell my tele (didn't take long to find somebody) and pick it up. And it's freakin' awesome. Looks like this: (gotta love those inlays)
