  1. Does anyone else likes Canadian band Metric?
    I love them since their album Fantasies, but all albums are great. I've never seen them live but they must be great (I've got some bootlegs and concert videos). And btw. their singer is really hot

  2. I have to say that I have been loving Synthetica this year. I haven't checked out their previous material though (yet). Thanks for the YouTube links.



    By the way, if you want something to get rammed in your head for eternity, listen to 'Lost Kitten'. Once that pops up on their latest album, I can't get it out of my head.

    I love synthetica too - Lost Kitten is really hard to get out of head... Lyrics are great.

    Btw if the singer is hot, it doesn't mean they must be overrated (they could, of course). I think they are underrated because it's great band and they are not very well known - maybe only on the other side of Atlantic. But indie rock is not the real mainstream, so as usual...
    And something for you, Sergio: On the last tour they supported Muse.

    And I meant that a lot bands with a hot female singer are overrated just because of their singer, not because they're amazing musicians or something. It's like the opposite in this case, Metric's singer is not that hot in my opinion (she's very pretty, won't deny that), but they ARE an amazing rock band!

    Try album Fantasies, it's really masterpiece. And Their first album "Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?" is great too...
    I hope they wil tour Eureope one day. They've been just to some festivals...
