1. This is mindblowing! specially when you're watching it in full hd mode...
  2. First one is gold, with the focus like that.
  3. Absolutely, the first pic is one of the bests I've seen here

We could now rename this thread to "Aidan and his fascination for NYC taxis" haha
  4. Maybe we can have this playing in loop on the topic:

Great pics Aiden! My favourite is actually the third one, with the second taxi driving past I also really like the photo of Buenos Aires, the reflections in the rain.
  5. Thanks guys!

By the way, I forgot to tell you...I bought the new Canon Rebel T4i during my trip to NY...It was a little cheaper than the 60D and the best part of it: it came with the superb 18-135mm lens...they really really great and I'm still shocked about it's quality since it is not a "L" series lens. Also, the video features of the camera are incredible...I'll take the camera with me in november 11th, when I'm going to see Joss Stone live again and then I'll show the results to you.

And I'll try to upload more pics from my trips soon, but no more taxis are expected

    ps: Love the video Tim
  6. Whenever I see 'Last post by AidanFormigoni' I have to check the topic because your photos are always awesome.

And Tim, thanks for sharing that timelapse video, enjoyed it.
  7. Awesome news on the camera Aiden! Is the T4i replacing the XS permanently or are you going to continue to use both?

Regarding that timelapse video, if you're interested in how he goes about shooting it, there are two behind the scenes videos on YouTube.

The first is an on-location video from the Seattle timelapse:

And here is the full Seattle timelapse:

And finally, the editing process for San Francisco:

A few of the comments from the creator suggest that there is a Washington DC timelapse on it's way and the time taken for the shoot was 3 days of filming and 6 days of editing. Time well spent looking at the finished article I'd say.

    Thanks Fabian

And Tim, the plan was to keep with the XS, but one of my best mates just got into photography and offer me a really good amount of money for it...so I sold it and now I'm just using the T4i and the small Canon ELPH300.

And once again, the videos are really awesome! I'd love to do something like this in the future...

  9. Huge it's the perfect word to describle Times Square. Everthing there is huge...the number of people, the building, the feelings, the energy....it's one huge place where people go just for fun and a happy moments...it's one of those moments Bono would love to say something about being "One"
