1. The Killers in a couple of weeks, and got some Bon Jovi tickets bought for this coming June.
  2. Jealous for that double Snow Patrol/Noel Gallagher bill, Matthew. So jealous.
  3. I'm like the happiest person on the planet today!

I'm going to see the first ever Green Day concert in Russia. I' was very hard to get a fan-zone ticket but I managed to do it today by pure luck

If U2 concert was the best day of my life, this one is gonna be the craziest.

    Hey..good move..they are amazing live..as you know..and they love playing Chicago..enjoy !
  5. Update of mine:

    November 5: Lostprophets
    November 8: Jack White
    November 27: Band of Skulls
    December 8: The Black Keys
    December 12: The Minutes
    December 13: The Hives (possibility)
    January 22 2013: The Blackout
February 5 2013: Two Door Cinema Club
    May 6 2013: alt-J
June 15 2013: The Stone Roses
    July 3 2013: Bon Jovi (I got £15 tickets!)

    So yeah, pretty huge list...
  6. Saw the Black Keys last friday night followed by Matchbox Twenty the day after.

Black Keys were outstanding, one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Up with the Foo Fighters and AC/DC. Nothing but good things to say about it.

Matchbox Twenty on the Saturday were great as well, but it just didn't have the electric atmosphere that the BK did. Great setlist and played 8/9 tracks from the new album, didn't like much of North before I went to the show, but now I can't stop listening to it. English Town and The Way may be up with some of their best songs like Bright Lights, Push or Long Day. One of the best weekend's I've had since seeing U2, U2, the Eagles and Bon Jovi all in consecutive nights at the end of 2010.

Shit Kieran this is a hell of a list.

Thanks for the MB20 review, dyl, still can't decide if I'll buy tickets for them or not.

  8. I've grown up listening to them and that was the second time I've seen them, and they never disappoint. Their concerts might not have that edge or awe factor, but from all accounts, they are consistent performers who put on an above average show. I guess it just comes down to how much you like their music?

If they do any half price ticket sales like they did over here, I'd definitely recommend it.
  9. Busy few weeks for me
    Last Tuesday was Black Keys.
This thursday is Matchbox Twenty with INXS opening
    13/11 Coldplay
    17/11 Radiohead
  10. Ended up front row for Snow Patrol and Noel. Both were simply stellar. Ran into a couple of the SP guys after the show, totally by chance, in the parking garage no less. Not even by their tour buses...they were wandering around the fifth level Got my ticket signed by Johnny who was genuinely having a great night.

Noel was great. Snagged his setlist

I swear you are the luckiest person on Earth when it comes to live music
