1. I wish I were.

Best place to have your apartment ever:
  2. I got a friend who lived there awhile. Its overrated.
  3. "Perhaps we can arrange a meeting."
    "Where are you now?"
    "I'm sitting in my office."
    "I doubt that."
    "Why would you doubt that?"
"If you were in your office right now we'd be having this conversation face-to-face."

I hate it when I want to watch a movie, but don't have time for it

  4. Best One ever, goosebumps when Bono turns around when his father is on the screen.
  5. Agree, that performance is the most-touching performance of One ever.
  6. For everyone who says that baseball is boring, my response is that it is only boring to you because you're too much of an ignorant prick to realize the complexities of the game.

You just see a pitcher throwing a ball to a guy with a bat. You don't see that the pitch is an outside breaking ball because the pitcher's hoping to get the guy to hit a ground ball to the right side for a double play.

You don't see the shortstop and second baseman signal who has coverage every pitch based on the hitter and situation.

You don't see the outfield playing a deep shift to left field when Albert Pujols is batting.

You don't see the pitcher back up third on a ball hit to the outfield with a man on first or, for that matter, the first baseman trailing behind the runner in case of a run-down.

You don't see a pull hitter hitting to the opposite field because there is a gap where the second baseman is playing closer to the bag because he has coverage on the steal.

    No.

You just see a man with a glove throwing a ball to a man with a stick...and for THAT...you are a dumbass.

I find it weird that an out of shape nerd would discover baseball this late in life.
  7. We played heaps of baseball in school, I loved the game!
  8. I suppose the same could be argued for that small minority that finds football boring. Then again, when you have the MLS to watch, I can understand why it's boring.

  9. I played a little when I was a kid, and rediscovered it this year. (granted, having your fav team make it to the world series, even if they lost when they got there will do that to you).

I'm hoping to try out for one of the local teams come springtime. I'm not that good, but either are they. I actually hit a ball in my first at bat, in the first game I played in a good 10+ years, but was so shocked, I didn'y hustle for a full three seconds and got out at first. Didn't get any more hits, but I can work on that. For fielding I played first, which sucked, because I had a new glove, and was playing with a pitcher. I'd never worked with before, and the gal playing second kept aiming high.

I feel I would probally be best at any infield position other than 1st. I'd go with catcher, since it apeals to my inteligence, and I dont really mind pain, but the equipment is expensive. Yes I know first is technically easiest. Having to catch from 3+ other players who all throw from diffrent ranges at diffrent velocieties is not my style. As for the outfield, I'm not fast enough over long distances.

I dont really find football boring, but I dont find it intresting either.
  11. I love baseball. Playing it (super amateur level, in the school like Buttons said) and watching it!

  12. Whats your fav team?

I'm a long time Detroit Tigers fan. After years of being the joke of the AL, there becoming the big threat in their division.
