1. They can do the 3 festivals (and even T in the Park and Oxegen too) in between more European shows. Nevertheless, the fact that there's a good bunch of European shows already announced for Februrary-March AND now a Wembley show for June lets me quite puzzled. Maybe they're doing European arenas on Feb-Mar, then moving on to United States arenas for April-May and then back again to Europe for some stadium shows (besides Wembley) and the summer festivals? Who knows.

I would say probably just festivals in the summer, with the one-off Wembley gig. Sorry to drag up the Muse comparison again but this reminds me very much of the build up to their first Wembley shows. A sell out UK arena tour the previous winter then a stadium show in the summer, without really continuing the stadium set-up on the continent (apart from Paris), instead choosing festivals.
  3. Yes, agree, agree.

Let's not forget that The Killers were barely starting out with Hot Fuss while Muse were already releasing Absolution and doing a worldwide tour. So they have more or less of a 5 years difference; the Muse 2007 Wembley shows are perfectly comparable to The Killers 2013 ones.

Let's see how quick (or IF) they sell it out!
  4. It looks like football on the TV instead for me now.
  5. People actually booed him when he said his voice was gone?
    What the heck "fans"!

  6. Bono was abundantly booed in Amsterdam, Dec. 16th 1989, when they called it a show early and postponed the next concerts for January. It isn't that strange if you ask me. Imagine you're at an arena and the show you have spent you money in and been waiting for months ends after only 3 and a half songs. I WOULD boo too, unless they immediately tell me they will re-schedule it. Woulnd't you?
  7. True, true. But still...

  8. Still an ugly behaviour, yes, I give you that. But understandable after all. Anyway, the dates are being re-scheduled soon. I just hope that not many people in attendance tonight/tomorrow aren't able to make it to the new dates...
  9. shame, but unavoidable i suppose; if i can't make the new dates i'll be so gutted.

  10. You know you'll get a refund, don't you? Still a pain in the arse Sorry for you Dan. I know how much you wished this concert to happen
  11. i know i won't lose out money-wise, and worst case scenario i'll just get a wembley ticket with my refund cash and make a big weekend of it.
