1. Maths

It's not really anything to write home about, the sorting method, just takes into account an album's statistics within my media player whilst combing that with the age of a record to come up with a simple score. So far, it's proving to be quite helpful in sorting albums within an artist. I look at U2's sorting for example and think that actually represents my taste quite well.

When it comes to artist vs. artist though, it's going to have to be decided by my own opinion since U2 massively outweigh any other artist in terms of everything.

To stay on topic, Pearl Jam have four albums in my collection eligible to compete.
  2. I believe that you have stated that they are Ten, Vs, Vitalogy, and Yield. The besst four in my opinion. That said, you should get some bootlegs from their 2000 and 2003 tours (they're free at pearljambootlegs.org) so you can hear: i) most of these songs from these four albums in concert and ii) superior versions of the songs from three other albums (No Code, Binaural, and Riot Act).

Of course, these live bootlegs aren't eligible for the top 100 albums list but they are definintely worth a listen. Ask Ed for which ones. He'll be GLAD to tell you.

Are those 4 albums by PJ the first 4 ?
  4. You beat me to the punch, Ed. I believe he has Yield, not No Code.
