1. Just back from Imagine Dragons.

  2. Yeah, I was wondering about any new stuff he's been working on. There was all that talk about a collaboration with Amorphous Androgynous and I thought he might have tried one or two songs from it if he was really serious about it, but there's been stuff said lately that it's getting shelved.

2012-10-27 - Vetusta Morla (Circo Price, Madrid)
2012-11-09 - The Gaslight Anthem (Cats, Madrid)
2012-11-17 - Jason Mraz + Los Secretos (Vistalegre, Madrid)
2012-11-22 - The Rasmus (Sala Caracol, Madrid)

2012-11-29 - Love Of Lesbian (La Rivera, Madrid)
2012-12-01 - The Hives (La Rivera, Madrid)
    2012-12-07 - The Minutes (Whelan's, Dublin)
    2012-12-09 - Frank Turner (Whelan's, Dublin)

2012-12-11 - Brit Floyd (La Rivera, Madrid)
2013-01-19 - Two Door Cinema Club (The O2, Dublin)

The Rasmus didn't happen eventually, but The Hives might be happening again, since my friends are playing at 7PM and The Hives concert is at 9:30PM...

The December Dublin shows aren't happening either, since I have to work on those days and I'm not able to make it. SAD and UPSET about this issue

    But the big addition is...

    2012-11-28 - The Black Keys

Ticket bought today Let's see how they behave. I have mixed opinions about their live stuff, let's see what they deliver.
  7. The Black Keys were very good, maybe 7'5 / 10. A longer set and a liiiiittle bit of improvisation would have helped. They were great nonetheless:

And I am DEFINITELY seeing The Hives; I had sold my ticket, but I have won a contest ( http://www.dcodefest.com/webfiles/web/leermas.php?id=179 ) and earned an invitation PLUS a meet&greet with the band.

  8. Wrex The Halls 2012, featuring THE KILLERS!

So pumped to be seeing them in under a week!
  9. Just came back from a surprise concert in Concerto record store Amsterdam. They opened a coffee corner this afternoon and they had mini concerts of Sean Rowe and yes, Glen Hansard. Really cool, just found out this morning via Facebook. After the gig he made some time to talk and sign, really nice guy. Tomorrow again Glen in Paradiso.
  10. Saw Dave Matthews Band again the other night, they were alright. Worst of the three times I've seen them but I had a good time at the show.
  11. Glen Hansard in Paradiso was brilliant. Very diverse, from slow to rocking. Last song he went with the large band (surprisingly many on stage) into the audience, so the audience formed a circle around them. Lisa Hanigan was the opening act, not really into her music, but she has a beautifull voice.

I love love LOVE when the musicians go into the audience and perform unglupped and/or surrounded by audience members. LOVE it.

Seeing Glen Hansard here in Madrid on Feb. 13th
