hahaha cheeky sod you are Thanks for the link Ade, although the download is slooooooooowwwwww........ We'll get there eventually anyway.

EDIT. I could only download the first 2 songs, then the server became unusable (downloading at 0.5 kbps? No thanks). It would be appreciated if someone found some links for downloading the recording as a whole
  5. yeah the download is VERY slow think that's because it's their server and it can't cope with demand - that links appearing all over the net so everyone's trying to get it at the same time. Apparently night one is out and about in the same quality though personally i wouldn't bother as i thought they were poor on the first night. Newark from 15th december is by far the best of the five gigs.
  6. Someone on the Coachella cruise has confirmed The Rolling Stones and The Stone Roses for the 2013 festival.

We'll see if it holds up.
  7. The Rolling Roses?
  8. The Rolling Stone's Roses
  9. Got a gift of 'Grrr!' yesterday - two-CD edition. Nice to add some 80s and 90s Stones to the collection with the two new songs.

The booklet is just three photos of some 60s and 70s publicity shots and song credits - only real extensive credits (instrumentation credits only for Doom And Gloom and One More Shot). As always, the removal of important personnel from credits (Brian Jones, for one) is always good to see as well aka The Glimmer Twins re-writing history. Not one song from A Bigger Bang, either.

Apart from those omissions and barebones detail, it's a decent collection. So with the revised 2007 RG collection, you then have 37 songs from that, add 19 of them from the second disc and that's nearly 60 songs right up to the present day.
  10. i gave it as a gift to my girlfriend .. the boxset ... it's exactly in Unforgettable Fire/Joshua Tree style
