    I have a feeling that toning down a bit would open a new world for you. Nobody asks you to change your opinion, but if you werent so black and white you will see that people respect you regardless of your opinion.

    People are more than the party they vote for.

    I have no issues categorizing people via their political beliefs.

  7. The scary thing is that he's been on the science commite. I'd call the other guy with the abortion comments crazy too. The one who thought a rape pregnancy was a gift from god.

    Apart from those I don't think I've called any conservatives "crazy morons". So I certainly don't "write off conservatives as crazy morons". So you were wrong on that.
  8. I'm rather fiscally conservative apart from two major issues that are important to me. People shouldn't die because they can't afford healthcare. And then there's children. No child should suffer because of their parents mistakes in life. That means things like free education.

    People who don't work don't need to get much more than what's needed to survive.

    And then I think we need to do things about the environment, because otherwise we'll all be fucked.
  9. Not everyone should go to college. That mentality, has created an extreme shortfall in the skilled trades. Anyone who has ever hired an electrician knows those guys make good money.

    Going to college is nice, but someone has to make the college for them to go to.
  10. Most electricians have some form of education. Unlicensed electricians arent even allowed to install fuse boxes (well Insurance companies wont allow it, sure governments handle it differently across the globe).
  11. Most consider trade schools separate from colleges.
  12. Here the distinguish it differently. There is MBO which can be partly seen as trade school next to HBO and uni. We all call it college.
