1. I woulda been realllllly excited during those first 3 songs with the thought that they might perform Sams Town in full ( easily my fave). I never woulda been so disappointed to hear Sonebody Told Me! Lol

  2. Ahh ok, fair enough. Still would have thought Battle Born would have made it in there though, it is the Nevada state nicknam.e

I believe it was also the second of two nights so that could have something to do with it.

Battle Born had to be cut due to a curfew I think.

Also Nick is right, there were 2 nights.

    First night:

    Mr. Brightside
    The Way It Was
    Smile Like You Mean It
    Spaceman
    Heart of a Girl
    Bling (Confession of a King)
    Miss Atomic Bomb
    Human
    Somebody Told Me
    Here With Me
    For Reasons Unknown
    From Here On Out
    A Dustland Fairytale
I Get a Kick Out of You (Cole Porter cover)
    Read My Mind
    Runaways
    When You Were Young

Jenny Was a Friend of Mine
All These Things That I've Done

    Second night:

    the setlist posted above.

So, the first night featured 6 Battle Born songs (From Here On Out, Heart of a Girl, Here With Me, Miss Atomic Bomb, Runaways and The Way It Was) as opposed to the second night (A Matter of Time, From Here On Out, Runaways and The Way It Was). The opposite happened with Sam's Town, with 4 and 6 songs each night. I'd kill to have attended the second one, with Sam's Town opening (I wonder if it was the acoustic version or the full band electric) and Baby I'm Yours, one of my favorite songs ever.
  5. Full band! Check out the vids on YouTube. Awesome. Wish I was there.
  6. glad to hear it was full band, i always thought that song got short changed when it got changed to acoustic; it lost the jittery urgency that makes it so powerful.
  7. went to see them earlier this month, couldn't have been happier with the show. Went with a few friends and even met another friend at the show and were about 5 rows back in the pit, just far enough for me to shake Brandons hand during Battle Born pretty awesome.
  8. Did he go down the stage to shake the crowds hands? Wow man Congrats!
  9. Request: does anyone have a show from the Battle Born tour yet? Trying to get a nice recording of one, really would love a high quality version from the extended sing along at the end of From Here On Out.

I will mirror said request. I've yet to find a high quality recording from their new tour. The most recent recording I have is from one of the summer festivals they performed at leading up to the tour. Between then and when I saw them live in December, they had switched up quite a bit (added new intros to song songs, most notably Somebody Told Me and Reasons Unknown).
  11. If they were coming to Spain I would have recorded them in the best possible quality, but since they've decided to ignore us, we fans stand here without a single decent audio recording of the tour. Great.
  12. There's one show in Spain. They're playing at Benicassim on July 18th, but it looks like it's sold out....

But only one show in Spain with several in South America does seem a little odd... I just hope they come back to the west coast of the US to do some proper gigs.
