I'll admit that it's not my favourite Springsteen album, by a distance, but it did lay the foundations for everything that came after. I do love the abum cover though. Spirit in the Night is my favourite track from this album. I'm listening to it (the album) now, just ticked over to the final track. Happy 40th anniversary Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.
  2. what about For You, Growin Up and mainly .. Lost In The Flood?
Spirit live is simply awesome .. always full of enjoyment

yes on 8 february like i wrote some posts back

  4. an IEM version of Greensboro has surfaced a short ago
i rated my "old" audience version very low "2 star" more or less, i don't know if you already have another one or found this yet .. anyhow same procedure as always if you want ...

  5. Sorry Ronnie, didn't see it It was strange that I had posted a piece of news regarding Springsteen that you didn't know
  6. i'd love greensboro when you've got time no hurry, thanks. i never bothered with the first two versions, wasn't there one which was you tube rips and a second which i heard a bit of and thought i could probably live without.

As for greetings, take out mary .... and the angel and throw in a couple of outtakes from those known to have been recorded specifically for 'greetings' ... cowboys of the sea, arabian nights, jazz musician, two hearts in true waltz time, street queen, lady and the doctor, visitation at fort horn, the chosen, song to orphans. If he'd waited a couple of months bishop danced and thundercrack would have sealed it. Have to say i like greetings a lot.
