1. I'll have a look when it appears on the NFL game centre website (usually in minutes). Still haven't caught up on last nights games yet. Went to bed in the 4th quarter of the Denver game assuming they would win it, wake up today and apparently not.
  2. Just seen it, I thought Roddy White was turning it to an old man but he did well in double coverage.
  3. Baseball is a far superior sport to football. Actually playing later this week with some friends. Truthfully one of the reasons why I decided to give humanity another chance, who else is gonna play baseball in January (to be fair the snow is fairly light right now).

Well, I'm just getting into American football, because we have a channel that shows some now. Never really watched baseball, doesn't feel like something that'd be that great to watch. In Sweden we often play a casual game with some similarities in the summer.

My school season is starting on the 22nd (practice, games don't start till March) and i'm actually doing some hitting with a coach in about an hour.
  6. Can't say i care for Baseball, we have Cricket, and we're actually pretty good at it.

It takes a while to get into baseball. First time, I watched it, I thought it was boring as hell, but once you figure out the little things its fascinating. Lots of strategy.

What position you play? I'm an infield kind of guy.

  9. I play catcher and pitcher. Also 3rd from time to time. What do you play?

  10. Like I said, any infield position, although I hate playing first since I had the misfortune of playing it, with teammates I had never played with before. How easy that position is, is 90% based around how well you know the tendency's of your teammates. I like short the most since it tends to be busy.

Yeah i've never liked first. It really is to easy, mostly based on how good or bad the rest of your infield is, but if your good at it it definitely helps the team. Short is actually the only position i've never played at some point, i'm not a fast enough guy for that. I have little range when it comes to infield lol Luckily I won't have to play it anytime soon! I don't think that'd go to well You play high school, college...?

Didn't discover baseball till late in life, so no in high school, and the college I'm at don't have a team. Just playing with my buddies, and were considering trying out for local teams come springtime.

Also you don't really have to be that fast to play short. Just have good reflexes, and get a good read on the ball. My two favorite active MLB shortstops are J.J. Hardy, and Troy Tulowitzki, and neither of them are that fast(I don't think either has ever gotten more than two stolen bases in a season), but both are great defensively. Getting a good initial read on the ball is the most important thing.
