1. so ...

    Ron: PJ 5 - RH 2 (1 tie)
Matt: PJ 4 - RH 3 ( 1 tie .. that still screams for vengeange hehe)
    ED: PJ 4 - RH 4

    PJ win hehe
  2. PJ certainly win for the 90s.......

.......as far as "great" releases from 2000 on,its Radiohead by alot.....Kid A and In Rainbows were amazing...Hail to the Theif was very good..Amnesiac had a couple of really great songs,(Knives Out,Pyramid Song),but overall was more of an extension of outakes from Kid A..(KOL was admittedly awful).....but those 3 IMO,are much better than all of PJs post 90s releases...
  3. PJs best release since Yeild is said to be Backspacer, and it isn't a great release.its good, but Kid A and In Rainbows are far superior... Hail to the Theif is better than Backspacer as well........just my opinion.....
  4. It depends on my mood but I think Binaural and Riot Act are underrated. Songs like "Nothing as it Seems," "Insignificance," "Of The Girl," "Parting Ways," and "Light Years" are great as are "I Am Mine," "Save You," "Love Boat Captain," and "Thumbing My Way." That said, none of these songs are as good as the best from all five 1990's albums and both of these albums have a couple of clunkers.
  5. Moving on to Pearl Jam (Avocado), I think "WWS," "Life Wasted, and "Severed Hand" are very solid while "Gone" and "Inside Job" are also well written (and performed - when they are in fact performed). The rest does very little for me, aside from maybe "Army Reserve" and "Parachutes," if I'm in the right mood.
  6. Of the Girl and Nothing as it Seems are great live...no question, studio, not so much....Parting Ways and Sleight of Hand have more balls live as well, and I enjoy both....Insignificance was never a fav of mine, and the band could never seem to get it right live in 2000

Iam Mine is a classic......Thumbing My Way and Can't Keep are really good tunes...the rest I don't care for....actually,I think Riot Act was PJs worst release...by alot.

I'm a bit tired after a long (drawn out) day at work...this is my only excuse for failing to mention "Can't Keep." I love that song - it's supposed to be my favourite on the album!
  9. I actually really like Riot Act, Thumbing, Love Boat Captain, I Am Mine, All Or None and Can't Keep are really nice songs imo.
  10. ...and Backspacer.

I've listen to it (well, the shows "promoting" it) a little to much over the past year. That said, Just Breathe and The End are beautifully written/performed and Unthought Known is probably my favourite post-Yield song. I've heard The Fixer a bit too much (it's catchy, maybe too catchy), same goes for Amongst the Waves, and I never need to hear "Got Some" ever again.

As for the rest, they are okay (aside from Johnny Guitar - not a fan of it) but I've never gone out of my way to listen to any of them.

All or None works very well on the Benaroya Hall release.
  12. All or None is one of the best song of this millenium
