  2. Wow, the whole damn city's hotel capacity is full for that weekend I mean THE WHOLE DAMN thing. Cheap and expensive hotels - just everything is sold out. Closest hotel with a free room is in Bray (20 kms away). I'm amazed (and quite pissed).

    Well that's not really a surprise Sergio, it's the busiest and most expen sive weekend of the year. Try to look for bed and breakasts. Else Bray isn't that bad with the dart connection, you can wave to bono on the way into the city. Or booking.com but those prices pppfff. Or check thegrand.ie in malahide, nice hotel around 80euro a night.
  4. Thanks Peter I luckily scored a room in a great B&B in Bray for the night of the 16th, and a room at the Avalon House (the hostal we stayed in back in 2011) for the night of the 18th.

    No hotel neccesary for the night of the 17th for obvious reasons
  5. Don't all pubs/clubs close around 1-2 am? Long after party? :p

  6. Yeah, discos and whatever else we can find to keep the party going! I guess that being St. Paddy's Day things will open until later in the night. The 17th it was impossible for me to take the DART to Bray anyway (last DART goes out from Dublin at 23:30 I think) and the city hotels were all sold out so no sleeping is the very only option!

  12. Thanks all for the nice words. Oh well... I'm back in Madrid. I can't say "Back home", because as most of you know, home is where the heart is... And my heart is settled at the Emeral Isle. But well, I guess I will be back sometime. Hopefully soon. And hopefully to stay.
