    Ah, Bleecker Street. I stopped off at that record shop when I was in New York last summer. We were on the tour bus and the soaring heat just got to us on that open-top bus. So while my family sat in this garden, I went to Bleecker St Records hoping for some bargains but it was extremely over-priced. Obviously it would have been better for value back in the 90s. Do you live near there, Ed?

    You three (Ed, Matt and Ronnie) were respectable young men with excellent music tastes in the 90s so I can't compare to how awesome your time was in getting to know PJ, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, etc. Funnily enough, it was video games that influenced my music taste. I got into Pearl Jam through Guitar Hero II and III which included both Life Wasted and Even Flow, respectively. Soundgarden and Alice in Chains was through Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I loved Rusty Cage and Them Bones the second I heard them. San Andreas also got me into Rage Against the Machine and some old-school rap too. I rarely play video games now so look what it has done to me. It's changed my music taste for the better.
  3. I live in TriBeCa Kieran..its below the Village and SoHo (means South of Houston street)......TriBeCa stands for the TRIangle..BElow.. CAnal street.....yes,back in the 80s and 90s Bleeker Bobs and a few other places had so much..now,of course all that has changed

    I used to by my U2 45s,and vinyl's in the early to mid 80s, all over the village..by '87-'88..it seems the cd took over..I still have my vinyl from then..and yes I bought JT ON VINYL...LOL

  4. Yes..PJ broke bigtime by the fall of '92...the film was recorded well before they were known though...I think in '91..

    I wish that these guys had a few bootlegs out there - good ones, that is. As great as the I-5 compilation is, I need more!

    This site (for U2) and PJ have spoiled me rotten, I guess.

    in late 80's i had the big lucky to hang out to a very young club, at that time, just outside Milano .. Bloom in Mezzago which promoted (and still do) alternative and underground culture, not only musical .. so i got the chance to know quite soon the first wave of grunge and then the second one
    there i saw Nirvana in 1989 in Heavier Than Heaven tour with Tad .. i'm very proud and feel blessed of this hehe
    saw Mudhoney too at Bloom last year
  9. i know some of you are much more fussy about bootlegs than me hehehe .. but the Chicago one is a good four star + audience .. guitars a little bit distant at times .. you have to turn up the vol .. but hey this is Soundgarden you can not listen on low volume hehe
    so if you want me to convert to mp3 and upload simply let me know
