1. PJ site says that Wrigley sold out in record time....is the London gig sold out as well ?

Thank you for making "An Evening With Pearl Jam" the fastest concert sell-out in Wrigley Field history! Thank you to all of Pearl Jam's fans!! http://bitly.com/PJWrigleyField

There are many many many angry fans on there....what else is new..this always happens, every single year with them..and not for nothing, whats with the 1 gig in the US this summer ? Its as if they made this be "the HYPE show",by only playing one gig...they should at least add a gig, just play 2 shows as DMB did at Wrigley 09.17,18.2010
  2. If London wasn't sold out already, I'd be buying a ticket.

To be honest, why the heck are they playing London, anyway? What's the conection? I guess the fact that it's about halfway between Detroit and Toronto helps but why not just play two gigs?

    I'm just bitter.
  3. I dont blame you,you should be..thats what Im saying..whats with one show in the US,and one in Canada ? Its all hype..so the fans go crazy trying to get tickets to the one off gig....

and to add to it,they just dont tour..Im sure the "fall tour" will be the usual 2 week bs..
  4. Think it's all hype as well on the Wrigley show. Everybody knows there will be more dates in the fall, so it's not the only US gig this year. Maybe was better to announce all dates at once, so people wouldn't go all the way for this show. But it has been quiet on the "fall" shows lately.
  5. Pearl Jam is fastest Wrigley Field concert sell-out ever - Chicago Sun-Times

Not long after they went on sale Saturday morning, tickets to Pearl Jam’s concert at Wrigley Field this summer sold out.The band says it was the fastest concert sell-out in the history of Wrigley Field concerts.

Tickets to the July 19 show went on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. In a Tweet Saturday morning, Pearl Jam said, “Thank you for making ‘An evening with @Pearl Jam’ the fastest concert sell-out in Wrigley Field history!”

Great,so why not add another date guys ? Too busy ?

Poor, Ron, He's having trouble keeping up - and, correct me if I'm wrong, he's not on here very much throughout the weekend. Maybe we should post the next one to really put the pressure on him.

(Ron, I'm just having fun - obviously I know you'll read this.)

Have you had a chance to listen to the show (Auburn Hills)? Why don't you just put in a mini-review if you have...list a few highlights (and lowlights ), and, of course, rate it.
  9. i will try but i can't promise ..

Yes,I also loved the Simple Minds in the early 80s, up until maybe 95,last solid single was She's A River from them...and Big Country had a few great tunes in the 80s as well......so yeah, the Irish and Scotch had my ear as well....LOL
