That'd be a real shame if it's true. What happened to the place where the Supersonics used to play? Where will a new team in Seattle play? Rumour has it that the Sacremento Kings might be going there.
^Just an earlier post saying that there are no arenas in Seattle for the band to play in.
I'm still very grumpy about not getting tickets for the London show. I psyched myself up for going and am let down that I didn't get tickets using "traditional" methods. However, there's a silver lining here: This gives me time to see what lies ahead in the fall. If they play Toronto, I'll go for sure (hopefully get tickets online, however). If they skip Toronto (which I can sort of understand if they do given that they will have already played nearby and they need to play other places like NYC, Boston, Seattle, Southern California, etc.), I will find a (probably costly) way of getting a ticket to London.
Was somewhere on the 10C forum in the many threads on where they should play in the fall, from a local. We'll see, can't follow that many thousand miles away . Just keep hoping, but guess those tickets will be the hottest tickets of the tour. Else MSG or Red Rocks would be quite some experience as well.
I hope they announce the "fall dates" before the London show....I really have no opinion on a fall tour,if there is no new material, for me its no big deal...as far as Im concerned, the 2010 MSG gigs will not be topped for me..
3 1/2 years with no PJ shows in Manhattan is weak,as is blowing off Seattle for 4 years, assuming they play Seattle and NYC this fall...
