1. For $60 I got to see The Killers play for an hour along with other acts that were decent/amazing (Imagine Dragons!!!) from great stadium seats.

For $95 I'll get to see a proper Killers gig doing GA. Since the only concerts I can possibly go to are in the middle of the school year (and in the middle of the week), the possibility of doing GA the right way is slim to none. Getting decent seats would easily jump the cost to $150+.

I don't think I can justify spending that much to see them at this time, the main emphasis being the fact that it is during school and in the middle of classes.
  2. Yeah same, the shows take place during the week and I think it's the same week as my finals LOL so no go... and they're pricey too for what you get, no offense to them but I'd rather save my money for Depeche Mode and The Strokes who are releasing new albums and doing live shows this year.
  3. hahaha if you're saving for The Strokes you'd better... well, I'll shut up
  4. Last night in Dublin... With Or Without You, 24 years later again at the Point Depot...

  5. These guys r fast becoming my 2nd favourite band, Coldplay and Muse get bumbed down a step.

  6. After seeing them live, they definitely have held the on to that 2nd seat.

Coldplay is still 3rd, but Muse is definitely a distant 4th because I don't really relate with most of their work.

Have u seen Coldplay and Muse live too? They r pretty awesome also.
  8. They're my 3 favorite bands at the moment (U2 aside). I have seen them all twice (except The Killers), both front row and mid-field, and I honestly can't tell which one I'd rank as best. Probably Coldplay for their sing-alongs (hearing the audience singing is my favorite part of any performance, always). Maybe 1) Coldplay, 2) Muse and 3) The Killers... But it can change depending on my mood

  9. I have not seen the live, but I do know they are both awesome. My assessment in ranking them comes down to material. Muse does not have any "go to" songs. That is, I have to be in the mood for Muse in order to listen to them where as the other 3 bands all have songs that I can listen to no matter how I am feeling. That's why Muse is in the 4th slot. Coldplay takes 3rd because I feel they are now finally turning the corner with Mylo Xyloto. It's a very uplifting album with a sound I find almost universally appealing. The Killers come in second because their songs have a very raw and down to earth sort of feel. I also like their use of synth. U2 is the king for obvious reasons, The fact that they've got songs released before I was born that speak to me on a very tangible level is amazing.
  10. Still hoping they'll play Violet on the 11th of March when they play Amsterdam
