  1. Hi and thanks to all for the great versions. However, I have this issue. I would like to burn this show without gaps on a CD which seems impossible in mp3 because whatever you do, the final burned version will still have smalls gap left between tracks.

    So simpler, I would like to burn it in wave to have a great listening gapless experience. Does anybody still have an original source recorded in wave? We wouldn't want to lose quality from re encoding it from mp3 to wave.

    Unfortuantely, a lot of ''old' folks still only have CD players.

  2. Converting the mp3's to wave does not affect the quality as by doing that you won't re-encode the files, you'll just extract them. (You only will lose quality if you later make a rip from your own cd's and encode the files to mp3 again.)

    However, I'm not sure if it will solve your problem. I kept the original files after remastering in flac so I can share them. Do you know how the torrent section works or do you need an upload on a file sharing site?

    i still have the capture of this concert, or what's left of the crash i've had here. I even thought i had it on FLAC, but since you told that the original source was lossy I left aside. I don't have the entire broadcast due to the f* windows that crashed right on streaming.. but i believe the last 40/50 minutes are intact, if you want a sample to analize it's quality aiming a future remaster, is at your disposal, just tell me that I try to do an upload.
    I really wish it were lossless, to shut up some jerks, and to dedicate to a special one, whose best contribution, at the time, was to spending hours spreading shit about my work in every u2 forum available, trying to convince people to avoid my version, alleging (damn lie) that I re-encoded someone else's version, but the jerk wasn't man enough at least to check that mine was the first version made available over the web. It doesn't matter at all, I don't care, i hope losers don't bite their own tongue to not die from their own poison. Thank God the good people are the majority, here and elsewhere, for these people is worth sharing

  6. Noiseless, I was wondering. Do you still have the original recording before creating flac files? Even if the whole concert is in one continuous recording?

    In fact I have part of the original capture, as explained above, i believe i have the last 40 minutes of the concert. But since noiseless said that the original streaming source was in lossy format, and in terms of audio i trust what he says, being this way it does not seem worth a conversion, because even though my captured is in wav, a wav coming from a lossy source = lossy anyway. But is to solve any doubt that i'd like to send noisless a snippet seeking a deeper analysis by someone qualified to do this, more qualified than me, because i did not even noticed when my concerts were with reversed phase and noisless found that immediately.
    What astonishes me is the few number of available sources for a concert that was broadcast to the world. I thought shortly after the concert we had hundreds of recordings available for download. That is why from now on I will prepare myself calmly to record the upcoming concerts transmitted, by not trusting many people will do it or by not trusting many people will share it later, what i believe most.
  8. Sorry it took a while. No, I never keep any .wav files after conversion to flac. Flac is considered being truly lossless so converting back to wav should make no difference. So, to me it doesn't make sense to store wav files after finishing a show.
    I did share the flacs in the torrent section.

  9. I'm trying to download the Noiseless 7/9 webcast edit FLACs, but there's only a couple seeds and at the rate it's downloading right now, it'll take over a week! If anyone can help seed to make this go faster, I'd appreciate it! btw, I'm the one who just seeded the two new Montreal sources on u2torrents. I downloaded the mp3's of the webcast that first came out in July. Sounded pretty bad. Can't wait to hear this edit. I might try doing a matrix with my audience recording of 7/9 to see what it sounds lile.
