1. How's about The Unforgettable Fire?

    Great song!

  2. the best one !

  3. In America!

Of courses Streets and Bad are first but for me it follows like this
    A Sort Of Homecoming
    Desire
    Angel Of Harlem
    I Will Follow
    Window In The Skies
    Pride
    Walk On
    Gone
    Trip Through Your Wires
    Ultra Violet (Light My Way)

    Something like that

    mostly 80's...
  4. We’re talking only U2 songs, right?
I actually find it hard to be subjective here as I find that I was very influenced by what was played on the radio in the 80‘s and early-90’s. What many of you may deem as “the same boring top 10 (15 in my case),” I would argue (and somewhat contradict myself) and say that it is not the media telling me (and many of you) that these are great songs but that it is us (and our love for these songs) that makes these songs so great. Also, it doesn’t help that I listen to a lot of live U2 and they tend to plpay a lot of their hits, as opposed to rarities, at these shows. Anyway, the best (my favourite) U2 songs are:
    1. Streets
    2. One
    3. With or Without You
    4. Stay
    5. Until the End of the World
    6. The Fly
    7. Even Better Than the Real Thing
    8. Bad
    9. All I Want Is You
    10. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    11. I Still Haven’t Found...
    12. Pride
    13. New Year’s Day
    14. I Will Follow
    15. Mysterious Ways

Songs like “Desire” and “Angel of Harlem” just missed the cut. Admittedly, there’s nothing later than 1993. Although I think they still make great music (and I am referring to BOTH Pop AND All That You Can’t Leave Behind, it hasn’t had as much of an impact on me since then.

If I may add my “favourite non-hit” (and yes, I realize that “Bad” was not a single) songs are:
    1. Running to Stand Still
    2. Ultra Violet
    3. Zooropa
    4. Drowning Man
    5. One Tree Hill
    6. The First Time
    7. Zoo Station
    8. Love Is Blindness
    9. So Cruel
    10. Promenade

  5. your list above is just the "BEST OF U2"

  6. That's my point. WE, the fans, make these songs great becasue we love them....and because I grew up listening to (most of) these ones on the radio.

Exactly. We use to despise most of that songs because we've heard it until the burn-out point, but if we're sincere enough we know we love most of them either way. Moreover, there is that stupid bullshit of "if you're a hard die fan you can not like the mainstream songs" and/or "If you're a hard die fan you are absolutely obligued to like every rarity above the rest of the songs", both of which are absolute bollocks.
  8. in 10 years you will enjoy the rest of the songs
  9. I will still enjoy them ALL (except for When Love Comes to Town). If I haven't gotten sick of them (the hits) in 20-plus years, it's doubtful I ever will.
  10. Too difficult to answer,as you have your favourite tune of the moment.
Maybe an easier question to answer wouldve been your favourite song off each album?
