  7. Emiel, the news hit me hard when I read your post yesterday. I'm so sorry, I feel for you. It is one of the worst moments in one's life to get news like that and having to deal with it. It is going to be a tough journey. But everyone of us will be with you along the way, be sure of that. Our friends here have given me such incredible support over the past almost two years and they keep doing it, there are no words. Time for me to give something back. Sitting in hospital right now waiting for next shot of radiotherapy, but my thoughts and prayers are with you. I send you all my love and strength. You will get through this, and you're going to fight the darkness and the fear. Don't let the bastard that is cancer grind you down.

  8. I can't write a more encouraging post than what Kirsten has posted before me Emiel. I'm so sad to hear this but glad to see that you have your strength and hope and will put up a good fight. You will win this, as will Kirsten and we're all here for support, waiting to hear all the updates along the way.

  10. Well, it seems it all has been said... Anyway, Emiel, we will stand by you and although we're just a bunch of virtual nicknames, our support is still here for you whenever you might need it. My grandmother had colon cancer back in 2008 and she's done fine all this years, she's still doing fine... So, walk on, be strong in your heart and everything will sort out
  11. Hmmm that sucks big time Emiel, I really hope everything will be alright for U2 (See what I did there)

    Cancer is just a horrible disease, but when they are early with discovering it there is a lot that could be done to help you get better. Ofcourse that path will be hard but I'm sure you can take it with help from your family and friends.
