It's never limited edition. Plus I doubt people are gonna be rushing out for four 20 year old demos. You can still get U218, How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb and all the special edition DVDs.

You can even get Boy and October, which incidentally are the most expensive!

I got this update on my Facebook as I have U2 as one of my 'favourites'. I can't see the difference between the video posted there and the one linked to from this site to U2.com. So this article seems a little inaccurate to me. (I checked Facebook yesterday and looked at the video on U2Start last Thursday).

Download Remastered Joshua Tree - Monday

The Joshua Tree, remastered from the original analogue tapes, begins worldwide release next week. You can download the deluxe edition, including b-sides and demos from the original album sessions, exclusively from iTunes in the UK this Monday.

In 1987, The Joshua Tree reached Number 1 around the world and won a Grammy for "Album of the Year", while U2 won the Brit Award for Best International Act and Time Magazine put the band on its cover, proclaiming them "Rock's Hottest Ticket". Including the singles I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Where The Streets Have No Name and With Or Without You, The Joshua Tree went on to sell in excess of 20 million.

"There has been continuous demand from U2 fans to have The Joshua Tree properly re-mastered," says Paul McGuinness. "As always, the band had to make sure it was right, and now it is."

In North America the four physical formats of the album will be available from next Tuesday - in the UK, release will be December 3rd.

Indeed...I once bought all the albums for €10. HTDAAB for €20 and ATYCLB for €18. Last month, I saw Boy and Rattle and Hum for €15. Slane was €25 while PopMart DVD was €21...doesn't make sense.

I'm anxious for the 30th of november. My order will be delivered than..
  8. yeah in ireland its the 30th of november....i checked!! its strange as i was in hmv and all the early cds are €9.99 up to the joshua tree which is now a whopping €21 for the original cd!! i would have loved them to put whatever outtakes they had on the remaster...4 is good but would love more....i cant remember fully but was reading somewhere ages ago that bono was working on a song called white city for the joshua tree but never finished it....also suprised they didnt put womanfish on the cd as that too is technically a joshusa tree outtake!!
