1. these guys were promising years ago .. they're failing every single move lately
  2. I really like their new style or type of music (last 2 albums), but I believe this year of resting will be a good thing to them.
  3. Hi guys, Jared Followill just posted this on his twitter ccount:

"Finishing up the record. We're trying to take our time, but we might be too sober to not finish it tonight."
  4. This is what I hate about Kings of Leon: how they post about how much alcohol they drink on Twitter. We know one is a borderline alcoholic already and nearly split up the band, we don't need the rest to follow suit. In fact, we don't even need to know.

Onto the album, I hope it's a full-on rock record. I wasn't a fan of the sassy Come Around Sundown.

Also, I might be going to Open'er Festival in Poland with friends in July, so I'll probably be seeing these guys again. More interested in Blur and Arctic Monkeys, though.
  5. I'm with you on the alcohol subject...
  6. been listening to Come Around Sundown a lot lately, it's grown on me a lot. it's so simple and laid back but there's some gems on there for sure.
  7. I still think it's a great album... I really don't mind they became too POPish...I just think biggest part of songs sound really great to my ears
  8. These guys were in my top 5 until i saw them live in late 2011. I got the feeling that they took everthing for granted, exact opposites of U2/Coldplay etc.

I'll give them another chance though.
  9. Well, I really like their sound, but I have to agree when people say there's not much enthusiasm on their show... I hope it's just their way of lead with the hole live thing
  10. New KoL album in September
  11. Meh. Will no doubt have a listen tho.
