  1. Hi all of you,
    after some time off as I dropped my company and became a teacher again (can see you youngsters' grimaces now) I'm back. And I like to make a return here in the games section as I have a PS3 since Xmas. My games at the moment are FIFA 13, Resident Evil 5, The Sims (for my wife actually), SW- Force Unleashed and PoP - Forgotten Time. Any Online playing appreciated, especially FIFA 13. I play with my pupils online a lot.
  2. Well Tim that is a pretty good first season. Nice results in the CL, it isn't strange that Madrid is a bit too strong. Good results in the League and winning the cup is always nice.

    You probably already did your transfers but Denswil is a good replacement for Moisanders otherwise you could try Viergever from AZ. For the middfield you have Andersen and Meleg (?) already but Maher, also from AZ, is a amazing player for Ajax.
    I also got Cornelius from Kopenhagen and grows to be a really good striker and since Sightorsson is likely to get injured its always nice to have a striker extra.

    I didn't played much last couple of days because of some shit with school but I do remember that it is likely for me to be champion after 27/28 games if we keep winning our games. I lost Eriksen with a injury but Schone and Serero did good while he was away, we also kept up scoring. 85 goals or something after 25 games (ridiculous ) and the next match I have to play is the first game against City, with a fit Eriksen So we will see how we do. Only lost 1 game in the whole season (League, cup and CL) and only drawed 3 (2 league, 1 CL)
  3. Sounds like you're having one of those seasons that you'll find difficult to top. I suppose the real quest now is Champions League glory and you sound like you're in a position to rest players for the big games. Although, Man City do always find a way to screw you over with that 4-3-2-1 formation.

    I'm still in July 2013, so haven't yet made any transfers in or out. Strootman was transfer listed and I went after him for £13.75m but his agent was an arse and he went to Loserpool instead. Also tried for Anita at the same price but PSG were already in talks with him and they signed him. I did sign Viergever on the network game previously, but decided against it this time. He is on my shortlist though (as is Maher), but it's a question of either buying him or giving Denswil a chance. I like Meleg (not to be confused with Menig), I promoted him to the senior squad around January and he played 10 games with an average rating of 7.15, which isn't bad.

    Once they return from holiday, I'll transfer list those who I don't want and promote anyone decent enough to a more senior level. Then I'll think about signing players.
  4. I finished my season and what for season it was

    As you can see, didn't lost a match and only drawed 3, last few matches were a good chance to let the second choices and the youth get there minutes.

    Also the cup wasn't a problem:

    However Twente put up a fight in the final and we won because Fischer scored after 89 minutes.

    The CL was mine too We had a easy first round like I said in a post before. City was strong, but not too strong for us. We got a red card in the home match but still managed to smash them with 5-2.
    After that we had to play against Arsenal they also were a tough opponent but thanks to my Danish Dynamite we got trough. In the semi finals Palermo (wtf?) was our opponent. They lost at Anfield with 3-0 but managed to come back and win 5-1 at home. They played 3-4-3 and made it hard for us to build op from the back and play like we normally do but there came my finest moment brought in Sigtorsson and let Vermeer play the ball to him in the last 15 minutes he even managed to score 2x. The home match suprised me since we just totally smashed them with 8-0!!!!!


    So then there was the final against Real. I expected a really hard match, but it became a pretty easy victory they didn't created any good changes until the second half. In the end we won 3-1 and the 5th CL was in the pocket.


    A great, great season. Now its time to go on and see what more we can achieve. Already signed Van Der Vaart free for next season and might get Sneijder too for free..... Serero was sold to Liverpool for 26m € I think I will play with more youth player next season since I got some nice players coming trough.
  5. Wow, great season! Completely dominated all competitions. I can't believe PSV scored 98 goals in the league though and didn't put up any sort of challenge. They must've had a couple of 10-0 games Congratulations on winning the Champions League too, next stop is the World Club Championships

    Van der Vaart and Sneijder will/would be great signings. What would you be looking to do with them though? First team or back up? I imagine that you have a strong first team as it is. Also, great result with Serero. He's not that much in favour with me at the moment, so I doubt he'll last long enough to command €26m

  7. Yeah it was a great season. The bottom three teams got a huge amount of goals against them so PSV also managed to score a lot off goals.

    I really don't understand why Liverpool payed so much for Serero, he didn'y play much for me since I already got Maher on his place. Seems like FM Liverpool is just as stupid as the real Liverpool when it comes to transfers . I signed Van der Vaart in february since his contract was ending and I always liked him, now Sneijders contract at Inter has ended so he is a free player. His agent offered him to mee and he doesn't want a huge amount of money so I might get him and sell Schone.
    I think I will use them both as back up.... Sounds a bit sureal right but Maher and Eriksen are great and I don't have any reason replacing them.

    I will try if I can upload my tactic later on. I play 4-1-2-2-3 (4-3-3 with a defensive middfielder.
  8. Lol, 4-1-2-2-3 is 13-man team I assume you mean 4-1-2-3? FM Liverpool is just like real Liverpool, terrible. They've done nothing on any of the seasons I've played. Rodgers is always sacked come November and they change manager on an annual basis. And just when I can't hate them more, they steal Strootman from me VDV and Sneijder would be amazing backup players. Be sure to negotiate that into their contracts though, you don't want them complaining about a lack of games.

  10. I've just won the Super Cup in the second season against AZ. No transfers in, but I lost Sulejmani (the downside is that I can no longer sing "Donna Famosa" when he scores) out of contract and I sold Loohuis for £1.1m (a profit of £350k). Tell a lie, I have signed someone - van Velzen on loan from United. Couldn't help myself

    I'll update once I get into the second season, tonight hopefully. I'll also have a look at your tactics when I get to the computer and maybe upload my own.

    I haven't played much last week but I managed to win the World Cup for teams, also won the European Super Cup but lost the Dutch Super Cup to PSV. Although I had to play a lot of matches and some of my key players (Eriksen, Fischer and Maher) got injured I still haven't lost a game except the Super Cup. I also got some really nice youth players in my first team now, the ones with the crazy faces if you know what I mean . Got 3 players who play regually in the first team.

    What sucks is that I have to play against United in the first knock out round in the CL, although I managed to beat them in the European Super Cup they still are a tough opponent.
  12. I haven't played since last week - I've been playing Fifa Ultimate Team instead

    Great to hear you have some youth players in the first team, I know the ones you mean We call them "regens" over here, which stems from the old games like LMA Manager where players vanished once they retired and were literally regenerated into young players. In my experience, the World Club Championship isn't difficult to win once you get there but it is still a nice achievement for your club, particularly if you fall outside the elite European sides.
