The songs on Backspacer are okay - I too really like "Unthought Known." As expected, the music is more mature than their earlier records, which is a good thing but also an inevitable bad thing: Good in the sense that I don't think individuals who are pushing the half-century mark should be trying to sound like angst-ridden 25 year olds. Bad in the sense that mature music is often (not always) not as energetic as youthful music.
I realize that their may be a few "holes" in my argument but I am sure many of you get what why I mean. In any case, it's sometimes hard to believe that the same individuals who wrote "Porch" and "Even Flow" also wrote "Come Back" (from the "Avocado" album) and "The End."
The Killers at 1:30 in the night and Pearl Jam at 01:45 (counting the spring hour correction that will happen tomorrow night). Affordable times. Let's see if the streams work fine!
