1. As i think everyone knows by now i'm not a recording snob any recording is better than none. These days we're spoiled by how good some are - if you started collecting seventies or eighties you were grateful for whatever regardless of how it sounded wich is why i can never get on with the flac only bunch. i've said it before but when they got offered their first bootleg they didn't go 'i'll wait for something better quality to turn up etc' they were too busy running around the schoolyard saying 'you'll never guess what i've got' (though most people would have replied 'nits'?) my ancient cassette recorder still works, i doubt security would even know what it was. If no one else tapes a gig it doesn't matter what the sound on yours is like. I think i said to clover when i was busy trying to get tickets for leeds someone over on btx had said they hoped because they hadn't got tickets and touts were already charging hundreds of pounds for them that he went and did 3 hours of unreleased stuff that night. That's my dream come true just think what i can get from his inner circle traders for that bootleg.
  2. Yeah that's true, but I can't do everything. My text books cost up to $180 each. I just can't spend all this money I don't have haha. I should have asked for a loan from someone!

    Bruce?

that would be so funny dear bruce i need x to buy some recording equipment for your gig.
  4. When is the concert happening? I can get something shipped to you, I think it would reach Australia in something like 7-10 days, a bit less with express shipping.

He plays Hanging Rock 30th and 31th. Too late
  6. someone will record it don't all be panicking. we might have to be patient - hopefully not the thirty years plus that it takes some recordings to surface.

my 'favourite' posts in many a month over on btx

    1. After seeing Bruce playing so many rare and awesome songs in my 3 Australian shows, it makes me realize just how damn awesome his back catalog is. It would be absolutely sick if he done some special shoes for his fans of everything in his career, maybe in a theatre around the NY\NJ area, do two nights of songs picked by his biggest fans, and release them on DVD. THAT would be a DVD you would ALL buy!

2(same person)If it were to happen, it should be done a similar way to the Carousel shows, and Backstreets members should be picked in order to get the best fans with the deepest knowledge of his discography.

3.(a different person- my god there's two of them) I said a few months back that it would be great if there was a Springsteen theme park and once a year, Bruce performed a show for those who have season passes.

    seriously - NO.

these people need to get out more, actually they need to get laid, like right now.
  7. hahahahha to point 2, lololololol point 3 is just surreal... that people is plain stupid
  8. i want to know what he's doing in out in the street at melbourne 3 people all around the taper are laughing.

there's a part of me that's tempted to be sarcastic with them and suggest 'dial a bruce' 1-800-BRUCE you ring and he pops round your house and plays the song you want there and then.

sadly i think they might take it seriously
  9. Morello, who has thrilled the crowds each night with his searing solo on The Ghost Of Tom Joad, jokes that he gives the sign holders the evil eye.

"I look those people in eye willing them to put the signs down," he said, laughing.

  10. even funnier would be if bruce said yeah ok i'll do that and then played waiting on a sunny day for three hours
  11. how many kids would be needed? .. a kindergarten would fit better
  12. no he'd have to keep the kids backstage and bring them out one by one so the 'hardcore' didn't get in on what was about to happen. For the rest of us he could broadcast it on youtube with the camera pointed at the audience.

he could throw in a couple of hungry hearts/lonesome day just to throw them off scent a bit.
