1. The Lamborghini is probably the less real of them all - but each of them is amazing in a way. The pics are fantastic, the effects are very well chosen. 3rd and 5th are just superb Long live Dodge GTX by the way
  2. Easily one of the most awesome things I have seen. Most of them are really hard to distinguish from real size scenes.

On a (un)related note, we need to get that editing/shooting contest up and running again I'm struggling for motivation, but have planned a trip to the Peak District soon and want to do some night shooting in Manchester.

The bus is just too prominent indeed. But it still was the best angle, considering other obstructions out of view :/

The competition, yeah we really should restart. Dont own a camera at the time, but can always borrow one
  4. It's actually impossible to tell if this is a real model or not. Just amazing.

  5. Well now I know, I see that the droplets would be a bit too big for a real-sized scene. But if I didnt know I wouldnt have seen that. Very cool.
  6. Thank You for all Your comments! On the picture that You liked the most (i think) is 1970 Plymouth GTX - it's a model made by non existing now brand called GMP. It's one of the best replicas of classic american "muscle car" that You can find on the market. It was made in many versions and colours. Model is heavy as a stone, it has all opening parts, great replica of an engine under the hood, detailled chassis with real metal leaf springs, rotating driveshaft or functionnal suspension. Even windows roll up and down! It's a great model - one of my fav.!

  7. Really amazing photos....All of them....I just can't choose some favorites.

It's hard to realize all of then are really models...
  8. And it's almost four years since (some of) us Europeans went to a show

  9. Thanks

It was a great week for me back in 2011...3 U2 shows here in Sao Paulo. That second night was mindblowing...one of their best performances ever if you ask me.

This photo is from night one, by the way
  10. I'm selling my Olympus EPL-1 with its 14-42 mm lens (stock lens) and the specific SEMA-1 / ME-15 external microphone accesory I purchased for it.

I've found myself too lazy to be arsed with mounting/unmounting the lens when I was out with the camera (it was meant to be my concert camera), it's a bit bulky and heavy, it had virtually no zoom (and longer lenses cost around 300€) and the quality was not as outstanding as I expected in order to outweigh all the cons. So... Selling.

On the other hand I just purchased an Olympus SZ-14, a compact with a 24x optical zoom with excellent reviews quality/price. I saw it new for 85€ at an outlet sell and I just couldn't resist. I think they are the best spent 85 bucks ever.

(they're available in a seeeexxxxy candy red but this bargain was in silver)

I'll still take the Nikon P500 for the odd travel, weekend out etc but for the day photography this little baby will serve me well. And of course for the concerts!
