1. That's the way modern football is these days. It takes a lot of patience and courage to stick with homegrown. UEFA have their own rules regarding homegrown players but I personally feel they need to change it to force clubs to cut down on foreigners. It's easy to buy the best players from around the globe.
  2. That's also why Barça is my favorite team.
  3. So, Germany vs Spain in the semi's for the draw or will we get Germany vs Germany and Spain vs Spain?
  4. Let's hope for the former
  5. It wouldn't surprise me if it was Madrid vs. Barcelona, Bayern vs. Dortmund.

  6. Well, there's actually a good 33% chance for that to happen Very little room for surprises here.
  7. Here's one hoping for a German final, those two sides play the best football now imo.

I enjoyed PSG today, Pastore and Veratti played very good, but then Messi came in and it was done.

  8. In the sense that UEFA would set it up, similar to how the draw for the second round was the exact same as the rehearsals the day before

Ah, I get you. If they were to set/cook it up, I think they'd prefer a Spain vs Spain / Germ vs Germ draw so both countries have a place in the finals. Lame but probable.
  10. Well the potential of having two derby matches for the semi-finals is probably too good to pass up. I'd rather tune into El Clasico one night followed by whatever the Bayern-Dortmund rivalry is labelled as the following night,
  11. This was class...

  12. Shame about the finish
