1. Yeah, they're definitely a great testament on how effin' great they were between 2001 and 2004.
  2. Thanks,

Admittedly, I've only listened to their "hits" from their first five albums (although that encapsulates about 20 songs) and I really like the stuff from albums #2-4 so these should serve me well. I saw the 2010 Glastonbury setlist and that one looked really good - having "Streets" is an added bonus.

Do they have a site for these? I am assuming these are legal downloads, by the way.

There's an U2start-ish site called Muselive, where you can download lots of bootlegs (including Glasto 2010). All you have to do is register yourself there, then you go to the forums and look below the categories. There will be smaller categories (Acoustic, Complete Bootlegs...), all you have to do is look after the show you want.
    Note: I'm not doing propaganda!
  4. Just ordered my tickets with a presale code for me and my brother. Got some great seats for me and my little brother about midway in the lower bowl. Can't wait for September now

No propaganda at all - MuseLive is a GREAT site and the closest I've seen to U2start for any other band
  7. I still have to figure out what all this hullabaloo around "Dead Star" is about.

  8. Easy.
Most hard-die fans of the band like their heavier work, songs like Citizen Erased, Showbiz, etc. Dead Star obviously falls into that catergory, and it doesn't get played much, so it's quite of a shock when it happens.
Something like U2 and, let's say, Bad. (I'm obviously not comparing the songs).
  9. Also, congrats on the tickets Andrew!
  10. Bastille will be special guest at three British shows:

    22.05 Ricoh Stadium, Coventry
    25.05 Emirates Stadium, London
    01.06 Etihad Stadium, Manchester
  11. I wonder why they're doing only 1 support act this time, they used to do 2 during the whole Resistance Tour
