  1. Where to get i right now? u2torrents has banned it....
  2. I'm surprised u2torrents allowed it at all.
  3. I opened an account on Wolgangsvault.

For a very good bootleg $ 5,- is not a problem for me.

This show is the best recording of The Joshua Tree tour, to my opinion. (I haven't listened to the Madison Square Garden show yet).

But not to compare with the '89 Dublin concerts or Dublin '93.

These recordings are far better then this. Does some know why the quality is much better then the recordings of the Joshua Tree tour?

And this concert was absolutely not Edge best evening, the concert was quite chaotic.

the improvement in quality is easy.

better quality broadcasts to start with, better quality recording equipment, better quality tapes, obsessed fans who were intent on getting the best possible end product, even down to better looking after of the tapes post-recording. all makes a difference.

I know, your are right, talking of 2011 and 1987, but between The Joshua Tree/Boston and Dublin '89 is just 2 years.
  6. since you're talking about the dublin 89 fm broadcast in particular theni don't think there were any fm broadcasts of joshua tree shows - maybe as i said before boston and madison square garden were recorded with the intention of broadcasting them on the king biscuit radio show in the us It's difficult even to compare the audience recordings of the joshua tree tour with those from lovetown tour. Since the majority of lovetown shows took place in australia - which even now wouldn't be considered the worlds best or biggest bootleg community comparing it with the very much prepared for anything us and european recorders isn't fair. It's fair to compare 1987 with 1992/93 audience recordings and i'd say there are far more 4 star and above in the latter.

    Clear.
  8. How do they get this stuff? Do U2 actually give them stuff to sell/stream? U2 should just stream/sell their stuff on their own website.. All of their soundboards in glorious lossless on www.u2.com. Imagine that!
  9. Dream come true.
    &
    Discussed to death.

  10. just make good quality boots available and the people will buy.......one of the reasons i like how pearl jam treats this issue....but, again, it's been debated to death elsewhere lolol
