  3. I'll have to go against the majority and say that neither Achtung Baby nor Joshua Tree are my absolute favorites. POP is probably a better album for me with Levitate (yes, it was from the POP sessions) and Miami. Mofo deserves a mention but can you really get rid of any of the other songs?

    And as for another album...it would have to be three. Greatest KISS (KISS), Trash (Alice Cooper) and Chisel (Cold Chisel).

    hmm, noone mentioned this one.... It's maybe the most underrated U2 album, I've been listening to this one just a few weeks but fell in love with it. And before I started listening to October it was War, another not very beloved album...

    If so then good on you for having the balls to have a different opinion (and to post it). You'll be in the minority here but that's the beauty of U2's music; we all find something different to love.

  10. Pop has grown on me, ALOT

    i initially thought it was awful, cos i loved my old U2 so much, but now after about 5 listens, i think its great!! some really good songs on it
  11. Rattle and Hum. Always and forever.

    U2 were always famous for their albums being well stuctured and well built-up, and on R&H they took it to a level which they could not reach even with Achtung Baby. From Helter Skelter to All I Want Is You, the album drawh the greatest arch an album can draw. It lives a different life from the movie (thankfully) and it's always a brilliant experience to listen to this album in its entirity. That's why this is the biggest gem of all U2 albums at least for me.

    i agree with everyword you said. i love the combination of the studio and live recording, and i think this is what makes this album so extraordinary and of course the great tracks.
