1. Yeah I saw it on a Dutch site this morning, looks awful.
  2. HOLY SHIT
  3. I have also read that planes there climb faster than 'ordinary' due to mountainous area and to avoid any possible gunfire attacks. Am far from an expert, but I think the stalling is visible from the first moment the plane is in view.
  4. Camera angle might be decieving, I have seen planes taking off "like that" because of the angle. Aidan might have a word to say about it too

A comment in the YT vid:

"I work at Boeing's charleston facility, and the company made official statements as of 4-30-2013. This is the result of a load breaking loose and shifting the aircraft a CG too far aft causing the nose to pitch up until the airfoil passed critical angle of attack and the 747 fell like a sack of rocks"
  5. They made official statements? That seems quick. I have seen planes taking of as well. But in the video the plane nearly seems vertical. Could be due to the perspective trickery though.

Anyway the official statement concurs with the rumours then. Some sources even clame the pilots mentioned it

But if the pilot says possible load shift, it is interesting to see that Boeing is sure now already.
  6. Creepy that these dash board cams catch everything, few months back also a plane crash:

  7. Holy shit, 2 meters above that and that car would have been completely destroyed.

  8. Yeah, also that wheel that hit the car. Sheer luck that the driver kept the car out of the rail. He probably saw the wheel coming (judging his braking lights)
  9. I'm watching this now:

Scary stuff. Not for someone fearful of flying...
  10. Yeah saw that one too :#
