1. Pearl Jam are supposed to end their tour on the first days of november .. so if it will be a real tour at least october is taken by them .. Soundgarden european tour in september (really hope not in august) .. or just a bunch of dates in the north ...

something is keeping on getting me "sick" of these 2 bands..
  2. There certainly is too much at once going on. I love that Soundgarden has reunited but the fact that they are touring in September really puts a damper on the chance of PJ playing anything extensive this fall.

I have a feeling I might have to "bite the bullet" and pay an arm and a leg for one of those London, ON tickets on Stubhub since there is very little chance that they're coming to Toronto this October.
  3. my bet?
a tens gig in Europe in late august/september by Soundgarden .. and that sucks
a tens gig in US in october by PJ .. and that sucks
PJ album in 2014 .. and that sucks
  4. Let Matt play with Soundgarden, and Barrett Martin can play with PJ, win-win right
  5. I feel bad agreeing with you here but I do.

    Something's gotta give.
  6. 9/13 - Manchester, UK @ Apollo
    9/14 - Birmingham, UK @ Academy
    9/16 - Dublin, Ireland @ O2
    9/18 - London, UK @ Brixton Academy
  7. Awesome news for SG - terrible news for PJ.

I read somewhere that the SG band members didn't seem to be getting along during some recent shows. If the observations were true, it doesn't look like it did any permanent damage to the band.

Absolute joke. No Scottish show. Why do bands keep avoiding Scotland?!

Also, the price of tickets aren't exactly cheap either - especially for those type of venues. £41.25 is, in my opinion, pretty overpriced.

  9. U2 and Bruce don't .. everything else is boredom

i'm with you though .. i hate to say "major" bands from Seattle area are getting me more and more aloof .. i just save Mudhoney (my "fault" this time), Stone Gossard and Mark Lanegan at the moment
